Yanga star striker, Obrey Chirwa has refused to be drawn to the rumors regarding his future following reports suggesting that he will be leaving Yanga at the end of the season.
The Zambian who is in the final months of his current deal with Yanga has been a subject of speculation throughout the season linking him with a move to Simba.
Speaking ahead of the Dar es Salaam derby with Simba on Sunday, Chirwa said that he will not discuss anything regarding his future in the media.
He added that, he is currently a Yanga player and he is only focused on helping his team in the matches ahead.
“I will not talk anything about my future through media, I am a Yanga player and I am very keen to help my team,” said Chirwa.
Chirwa is expected to lead Yanga’s attack during the eagerly awaited clash between Simba and Yanga on Sunday. In the reverse fixture in October last year, Chirwa was scored the equalizer soon after Simba went ahead through a Shiza Kichuya strike.
