Kenyan Premier League side Ulinzi Stars will play their first match of the 2017 Caf Confederation Cup competition in an empty stadium.
The Soldiers will be away against Libyan giants Al Hilal Benghazi on February 10 but two things are conspicuous in the first leg fixture as has been confirmed by Caf and revealed to Goal by vice chairman Major Joe Birgen.
First, the match will be played in an empty stadium and second, the match will not be played in Libya, instead it will be staged at Military Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.
"We have received a letter from Caf explaining that our match against Al-Hilal Benghazi will be played in Egypt at Military Stadium on February 10. The return leg will be in Nairobi at Kasarani Stadium on February 18."
Meanwhile, the Soldiers will play against Mathare United in a friendly match scheduled for today (Saturday) at Machakos County Stadium. They will then play against Muhoroni Youth and Western Stima next week in other build-up matches.
