Cross another one off the list. Marcel Sabitzer's move from Bayern Munich to Manchester United is now official.

He joins the Red Devils on a six-month loan deal meant to boost Erik ten Hag's men in the short-term.

After hours of negotiations, GOAL confirmed that Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain had agreed a loan deal for Hakim Ziyech, which did not include an obligation to buy.

Ziyech landed in Paris to complete his medical while the clubs were still negotiating, but there is a major issue with the transfer.

GOAL understands that the required paperwork was submitted late due to Chelsea repeatedly sending the incorrect documents. As a result, Ziyech's transfer was submitted late. PSG will have the opportunity to appeal to the French footballing authorities, but reports on Tuesday evening suggested they are not holding out much hope of registering the Morocco international for the remainder of the season.

Benfica head coach Roger Schmidt has confirmed that Enzo Fernandez is heading to Chelsea.

Speaking after his side's 3-0 win over Arouca this evening, he said: "We talked about it [with Rui Costa], the deal is done, it's part of football but what matters is Benfica. Today I'm not going to talk about players who are no longer here.

"I'm happy with the players who are here, I like the team. attitude, and patience, they enjoy playing for Benfica. Benfica is a fantastic club and we are enjoying playing for Benfica immensely and we have tried everything to make the fans happy and in the end become champions."

Wow, just as we were saying everything was under control with the big moves, Hakim Ziyech's loan to Paris Saint-Germain has been put into doubt.

PSG and Chelsea signed the contracts but they were not sent back to be registered in time, claims Fabrizio Romano. There are reports out of France indicating the Blues may have messed up with the paperwork.

The move is not officially called off, but it's not looking great right now.

The transfer window is closed. However, moves can be made if a deal sheet is properly submitted in time behind the scenes.

Pedro Porro is officially a Tottenham player, joining from Sporting CP. He's on loan until the end of the season, but there's an obligation to buy afterwards, so Spurs fans can feel comfortable embracing him right away.

Arguably the two most consequential moves yet to be announced involve Chelsea: Enzo Fernandez joining the club, and Hakim Ziyech leaving for Paris Saint-Germain. Both are near certainties tonight.

Marcel Sabitzer to Manchester United is also in the final stages, as is Pedro Porro to Tottenham.

Keep in mind that deals are often not confirmed publicly until after the deadline.

With a loan deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer being finalised by Manchester United, his agent has spoken about his fierce competitiveness.

"[He's] the most unpleasant person to be around when he's not playing," Roger Wittmann said of Sabitzer. "He hates it when he loses. That's the bottom line. Character-wise, the kid is a killer. That's what players who always want to win look like."

Marcel Sabitzer is now in Manchester ahead of his expected loan to United. The Telegraph says his loan will not include an option to buy.

The Red Devils approached the midfielder after learning Christian Eriksen would miss three months to an ankle injury.

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Jorginho from Chelsea, finally adding the midfield support they craved entering the transfer window.

He has signed an 18-month contract until the summer of 2024, although Arsenal do have an option to extend his stay by another year.

What would have been an intriguing transfer to the Bundesliga for Isco came apart on Tuesday after a medical had already been completed.

"We would have liked to see Isco with us, but we have our limits," said manager Oliver Ruhnert. "These were exceeded today, contrary to previous agreements, which is why the transfer will not take place."

Chelsea reportedly halted negotiations over the sale of midfielder Conor Gallagher on Tuesday, even as Premier League teams lined up to make bids.

There are at least five clubs interested in him, but the Blues feel the need to maintain depth in the centre of the pitch, regardless of whether their pursuit of Enzo Fernandez is successful.

With time running out before the deadline, there is reportedly optimism from Chelsea that a deal can get done for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

The lone hold-up, according to Sky Sports, is that the Blues want to pay six instalments over five years, while Benfica want three payments in two years. Chelsea’s reply was that, to pay in two calendar years, they want to pay less of a fee up-front.

Logistics for a medical are all set up if an agreement is reached.

Hakim Ziyech's deadline day move to Paris Saint-Germain is stalling due to Chelsea including a last-minute 'compulsory purchase option' in the deal.

That's according to journalist Edu Aguirre, who notes that PSG could be unwilling for that element to be included.

Ziyech is thought to be keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge this winter, and any completed deal for Enzo Fernandez could accelerate the Moroccan's departure to the French capital.

Luton Town have announced the signing of Marvelous Nakamba from Aston Villa until the end of the season.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that Southampton and Genk have agreed a fee of €18 million (£15.9m / $19.6m) for the signing of striker Paul Onuachu.

AC Milan have categorically denied that talks with Rafael Leao over a potential contract extension have collapsed.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both reportedly held talks with Bayern Munich over a deadline day deal for Marcel Sabitzer, according to Sky Germany.

However, the player's agent has reportedly insisted that his client is not looking for a move and "feels comfortable at Bayern", but the scenario might change in the next few hours as two Premier League heavyweights continue to knock on Bayern's door.

Manchester United are pushing to sign Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid due to the long-term injury to Christian Eriksen, according to The Telegraph.

The Red Devils are interested in only a loan deal and will not pursue a permanent deal for the Belgian. However, the report also mentions that Barcelona have a non-mandatory buy option to sign Carrasco as part of the agreement to allow Memphis Depay to join Atletico.

Barcelona are reportedly mulling over a loan bid for Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga, as they seek cover for the injured Ousmane Dembele, according to ESPN.

Elanga is also said to have attracted interest from Everton, Borussia Dortmund and PSV ahead of the winter transfer market closing for business on Tuesday.

Chelsea are yet to finalise the terms for Enzo Fernandez's transfer from Benfica as differences remain over the payment structure of the €120m release clause, according to The Athletic.

The Blues will not pay above the €120m release clause and hence are open to looking at other options. However, personal terms are already agreed with the player.

Jose Mourinho has expressed his disappointment in seeing the Italy international remain in the Italian capital despite interest from several clubs.

Leeds are one of those interested in signing him, but they are only willing to take him on loan with an obligation to buy, whereas Roma would only sell him this month.

Paris Saint-Germain's deal for Zenit forward Malcom has fallen through, according to Relevo.

The two teams were unable to agree on terms for the former Barcelona winger and PSG are set to sign Hakim Ziyech instead.

Bryan Gil has joined Sevilla on loan from Tottenham, it has been confirmed.

The 21-year-old initially left Sevilla to join Spurs in 2021 and was subsequently loaned to Valencia. However, he will return to his former team for the rest of the season.
