American starlet drawing MLS interest

The Philadelphia Union are one of several clubs interested in Louisville City youngster Josh Wynder, reports Tom Bogert.

The U.S. youth national team defender has also drawn interest from Europe, as well as other MLS teams.

Freund to remain at Salzburg despite Chelsea interest

Christoph Freund will remain with RB Salzburg amid links to the vacant Chelsea sporting director job.

"Christoph Freund has been doing excellent work for us for many years and only recently extended his contract until 2026," said CEO Stephan Reiter. "I can hereby confirm that he will remain sporting director of FC Red Bull Salzburg.

"Of course, he informed me about Chelsea FC's interest in him and we exchanged ideas on a personal level and in good conversations. The fact is that he will remain our sporting director!"

Rafael Leao is in talks with AC Milan to extend his contract which currently runs until June 2024, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, via TeamTalk.

Leao wants a pay-rise, closer to €7million per season, which is a figure approaching £120,000 per week. However, Milan will look to settle for €6million per season (just over £100,000 per week).
