Arsenal contemplating a potential move for Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Football Transfers reports that Arsenal is contemplating a move for Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer, with a potential boost coming from their sporting director's existing relationship. The reigning Serie A champions hired Mauro Meluso earlier this summer and he has a good relationship with Arsenal, after Meluso recommended Jakob Kiwior to the club.
This favorable connection could pave the way for a possible acquisition of the Georgian attacker. However, Football Transfers notes that securing Kvaratskhelia's services won't be easy. Napoli is determined to retain their forward, and parting with their star player would require a potentially record-breaking bid from Arsenal.
Nottingham Forest considering move for Arsenal backup Matt Turner
Nottingham Forest is reportedly considering Arsenal's backup goalkeeper, Matt Turner, as per the Daily Mirror. Initially linked with Manchester United's Dean Henderson, Forest's interest changed due to a higher price set by the Red Devils, exceeding their expectations.
Turner emerges as a leading option, although The Athletic states that discussions between Arsenal and Forest haven't occurred yet. However, David Ornstein's report emphasizes that the deal depends on the Gunners securing a replacement for Turner.
Arsenal pursuing deal to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya
As per The Athletic's David Ornstein, Arsenal has entered the competition to secure the services of Brentford goalkeeper David Raya. The 27-year-old shot-stopper has been linked with Bayern Munich, but no agreement has been finalized between the Bees and the Bundesliga giants.
Ornstein reports that Arsenal plan to bring Raya in as a competitor for, their current No. 1, Aaron Ramsdale, considering Raya's contract has only one year remaining. Additionally, Bayern's initial loan-plus-option-to-buy offer was rejected by both Brentford and the Spaniard, as the club wants Raya to sign a contract extension before giving their approval.

Arsenal and Burnley in talks over move for Albert Sambi Lokonga
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Arsenal and Burnley are engaged in talks over a potential loan move for Albert Sambi Lokonga. The Belgian midfielder has struggled to make an impact since joining the North Londoners, prompting discussions with Burnley for a loan move.
Tavolieri reports that the negotiations have progressed significantly, with Arsenal considering including an option to buy that could become an obligation if Lokonga meets a specific games played threshold. Burnley views Lokonga as their second choice, as Vincent Kompany's side faced difficulties in finding the right player in Spain.
Arsenal reject £30m offer for Florian Balogun from Inter Milan
Sport Mediaset has reported that Arsenal have received their first bid for Florian Balogun, but the Gunners have turned down Inter's £30m offer for the forward. The American international seeks regular first-team football and has been linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer.
Inter, as his top suitor, made a £25m offer plus £5m in add-ons, which Arsenal rejected as they consider it too low for a forward of Balogun's standing. This comes after his impressive 2022/23 season on loan with Stade Reims which has seen Arsenal set an asking price of £50m for the 22-year-old forward.
Mohammed Kudus would prefer to join Arsenal over Chelsea this summer
Football Transfers reports that Ajax's Mohammed Kudus favors a move to Arsenal over Chelsea this summer, despite interest from both sides. The 22-year-old is eager to depart the Eredivisie this summer and wants Champions League football, making Arsenal his preferred destination.
The Evening Standard adds that Ajax's Sporting Director Sven Mislintat has confirmed interest in the attacker but states that no official bid has been made. While Chelsea are the front-runners for Kudus, Arsenal's interest in signing the Ghanaian remains, yet financial constraints may necessitate player sales before further investments can be made.
Milan giants set to battle it out in £50m move for Folarin Balogun
AC Milan and Inter are poised to engage in a summer battle for Arsenal's starlet Folarin Balogun, according to The Independent's Miguel Delaney. The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Stade Reims last season, but he is reportedly set to leave the Emirates this summer. This has drawn interest from clubs across Europe, with Internazionale reportedly leading the race.
The Nerazzurri have been actively seeking a new forward and has earmarked the American international as their top target following their failed pursuit of Romelu Lukaku. Journalist Nicolo Schira has further reported that Inter's main target this summer remains Balogun and they have already initiated talks, with the Gunners looking for around £50m.
Arsenal interested in Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo
Italian news outlet Firenze Viola has reported that Arsenal are one of several clubs exploring the possibility of signing Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo. The 23-year-old has garnered interest from Ajax, RB Leipzig, Fulham, Napoli, and Fiorentina, with the Viola considered to be the frontrunners for the Croatian.
Yet Dinamo Zagreb are holding firm on their demand of £20m for their star defender this summer, which poses a major hurdle. Furthermore, Firenze Viola has reported that despite Arsenal's continued interest, Fiorentina remains optimistic about reaching a deal for Sutalo.
Arsenal set to receive bid from Inter Milan for Folarin Balogun
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Inter Milan’s interest in Folarin Balogun is genuine and the Nerazzurri are set to submit a bid soon for the young forward. The 22-year-old has generated a lot of interest this summer after an excellent 2022/23 season on loan at Stade Reims and Jacobs has reported that as a result, Arsenal want a fee of between £40-45m for the striker.
The American has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus, Marseille, RB Leipzig and a few other clubs, but Jacobs has reported that Inter Milan leads the race and will make a bid soon. The reporter revealed that the Serie A giants believe they can get a deal done for around £40m including add-ons.
Arsenal in talks to terminate Nicolas Pepe’s contract
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are in talks with Nicolas Pepe and his representatives over terminating the Ivory Coast international’s contract. But the Mirror has reported that Mikel Arteta has no place for the attacker in his squad and thus the club are in talks over terminating his contract.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are accelerating their process to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton this summer. The Saints midfielder has been the silver lining in a disastrous campaign for Southampton who finished at the foot of the table.
And Romano believes that the Gunners could use Bukayo Saka's agent in order to facilitate the process. Saka and Lavia share the same agent and Arsenal have good contacts with him.
“Arsenal are of course busy with Declan Rice, he is their top target in midfield, but they could make one more signing in that position, and it is true that Romeo Lavia of Southampton is one of the players on their list – they like him, they consider him a top talent,” Romano said in his exclusive CaughtOffside column.

The Europa Conference League winners will reluctantly allow Rice to leave this summer, but will charge a premium price of want £120m, but they would accept £100m plus a player.
Arsenal lead the race for his signature but their opening offer falls short of that valuation. Though the Gunners are expected to return with an improved offer for the midfielder, they have fresh competition in the form of Man City, who are assessing their options and could offer Kalvin Phillips in a player-plus-cash deal to West ham.
Thomas Partey set for shock exit if Gunners complete £80m Caicedo move
According to The Times, Arsenal have renewed interest in Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo who is likely to cost £80m. Mikel Arteta wants to overhaul Arsenal’s midfield this summer as the Gunners are closing in on landing number one target Declan Rice.

But he may not be the only key man departing the Emirates this summer, with Times reporting that Partey is also on the chopping block. Two Serie A clubs are keeping tabs on Partey’s situation and if the Gunners are able to get a deal over the line for Caicedo, the Ghanaian enforcer may be let go.
