Commentary

Ukraine and Ireland's players can now head off for a well-deserved break. They'll get back to Nations League action in September. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Ukraine stay top of Group B1, then, as their unbeaten start in this season's Nations League extends to three games. Ireland sit third. They'll be pleased to have picked up a point too, and Collins will be delighted with his goal.
It's honours even between Ukraine and Ireland in Lodz then. Collins' sumptuous first-half goal put the visitors in front before Dovbyk levelled things up for Ukraine early in the second half. Both teams tried to find a winner, but in the end a draw feels a fair result.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: UKRAINE 1-1 REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
90' + 2' Ireland appeal for a late penalty as one of their players goes down in Ukraine's box. The referee isn't convinced though, and blows the final whistle instead.
90' Yarmolenko jinks into Ireland's box and stabs the ball left towards the unmarked Mudryk. McClean gets a vital touch on the pass to allow Kelleher to gather it. There'll be two minutes of added time.
89' Riznyk grabs a tired Ireland cross and rolls it out to a teammate quickly. Ireland scramble back in time to prevent a Ukrainian counter-attack. It feels like this game's starting to peter out.
87' Hourihane plays a lovely ball through to Robinson, who has two teammates queueing up behind Riznyk at the back post. Robinson tries to find them, but his cross is too close to the Ukrainian keeper.
86' Zinchenko tries a low cross from the left now. Collins is in the right place again to stick his foot out and block.
85' Collins bravely gets his head to Karavaev's fizzed cross to stop a Ukrainian player from getting to it first.
83' Ukraine are continuing to probe, but Ireland are in no mood to concede a late winner. Lenihan tracks Mudryk's run to end the Ukrainians' latest attack.
D. Lenihan
Yellow Card
81' Ireland's ball into the box doesn't work out and Lenihan drags down Mudryk to prevent Ukraine from countering. That's the easiest yellow card the referee has given all game.
C. Ogbene
T. Parrott
80' Parrott's shift up front for Ireland is over. Ogbene replaces him.
O. Zinchenko
Yellow Card
79' Zinchenko reacts badly to a decision going against him. He's the latest player to land his name in the book.
77' Yarmolenko teases Ireland's defence before passing wide right for Karavaev to cross. Lenihan gets his head to it first.
75' Hendrick's ball in from the right is hastily cut out. Neither side's settling for the draw here, that's for sure.
D. Sikan
A. Dovbyk
73' Dovbyk heads towards the bench too. Sikan is his replacement.
D. Popov
M. Matvienko
72' Ukraine make a few changes. Matvienko goes off. Popov takes his place in the hosts' defence.
70' Hendrick plays a pinpoint throughball to Parrott. The Ireland forward's touch lets him down though, and Ukraine sweep up. Up the other end, Mudryk powers onto Zinchenko's prompting pass but can't keep the ball in play.
68' Browne goes on a driving run inside from the right and lays off to Hourihane, whose long-range shot soars over the crossbar.
J. Hendrick
J. Molumby
67' Molumby's game is also over. Hendrick replaces him.
C. Hourihane
J. Knight
67' Ireland freshen things up in midfield. Hourihane replaces the hardworking Knight first.
66' Shaparenko goes low with the free-kick, trying to catch Ireland's defensive wall out. It does its job though, and Ireland clear.
A. Browne
Yellow Card
65' Browne picks up Ireland's first yellow card by stepping across Shaparenko just outside the box to the left of the D. The free-kick looks promising for Ukraine.
63' Collins stands his ground to earn a free-kick in his own box and bring Ukraine's latest attack to a halt.
61' There are minor chances at both ends of the pitch. Knight gets another routine save out of Riznyk from range, before Ukraine get forward and flash the ball across the face of goal.
60' Parrott's blast from the left of the box is deflected out for an Ireland corner. It's sent into the box, and Ukraine manage to deal with it.
58' Mudryk's lofted cross is intercepted. Ireland are holding their own for now.
C. Robinson
S. Hogan
56' Here's that Ireland change. The quiet Hogan goes off. Robinson replaces him.
56' Ireland are preparing to make a change. They're best reacting quickly with Ukraine gaining momentum.
55' Kelleher takes no chances with Mudryk's left-wing cross, tipping it over the crossbar and out for a corner. The cross strayed out of play anyway, so it's an Ireland goal-kick instead.
53' There's real bite to this game now. Ukraine keep possession while Ireland wait for their hosts' next attack.
A. Yarmolenko
Yellow Card
51' Yarmolenko joins Zabarnyi on a yellow card by going into a hard tackle on Cullen.
50' Ireland find Lenehan free to the left of the box from the resulting free-kick, but he can only hit the ball high and wide.
I. Zabarnyi
Yellow Card
49' Zabarnyi's booked for a forceful challenge on Parrott.
A. Yarmolenko
Assist
47' That was great awareness by Yarmolenko, who sucked in a few Ireland defenders to create the space for Dovbyk to score. It's a great start to the second half for Ukraine.
A. Dovbyk
Goal
47' GOAL! UKRAINE 1-1 REPUBLIC OF IRELAND! Yarmolenko's sent scampering down the right and into the box. The Ukraine captain keeps his cool and rolls the ball towards the far post, where Dovbyk is free to slot it home.
46' Ukraine get the second half started. No changes at half-time.
Ireland have stopped their opponents from scoring a first-half goal in all four of their Nations League games this campaign. They're very good at keeping things tight. Eight of Ukraine's last nine competitive goals have come in the second half of games though, so this isn't done yet.
Collins' wonderful strike is the difference between these two teams at the break. Ukraine have been tidy on the ball, but Ireland have defended stoutly and troubled the neutral's favourites with their direct attacks. More to come!
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: UKRAINE 0-1 REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
45' + 2' Ukraine get one last chance to threaten Ireland for now as they're awarded a free-kick down their right. Zinchenko floats it towards the box and Kelleher comes away with the ball after Mykolenko heads wide. That's all for now.
45' Shaparenko unfairly muscles over Browne. There'll be three minutes added onto the end of this first half.
43' Karavaev sends a hopeful delivery into Ireland's box from the right, and Zinchenko's snap shot is off-target. That won't worry the visitors. Ireland look solid defensively.
41' Yarmolenko swings a promising cross into the box. It's too close to Kelleher though.
39' Ireland are playing full of confidence. Ukraine are sticking to their gameplan but the Irish are doing a good job of unsettling them.
37' Knight latches onto Collins' pass and fires a dipping shot towards goal from distance. Riznyk has it covered.
35' Mudryk causes problems for Ireland down the left and flings a high cross towards the far post. Karavaev leans back and blasts it high and wide on the volley.
33' That's Collins' first ever goal for Ireland on his sixth appearance. He'll remember that for the rest of his life.
N. Collins
Goal
31' GOAL! UKRAINE 0-1 REPUBLIC OF IRELAND! What a goal by Collins! The centre-back gallops towards the box from deep, skips past an onrushing defender and finishes confidently with the outside of his right foot! That's a finish any striker would be proud of!
29' Molumby gets fouled by Zinchenko down Ireland's right. Collins nods the set-piece down for O'Shea, who fires wide from the centre of the box.
M. Mudryk
R. Malinovskyi
28' Ukraine make an enforced substitution. The stricken Malinovsky heads off. Mudryk comes on to replace him.
27' Play pauses as Malinovsky has picked up a knock. It looks like the Ukraine midfielder will be unable to continue. That's a shame.
25' Parrott fires a cross into the box but Ukraine manage to handle it capably.
23' Ukraine are seeing a lot of the ball, but it's an even game at the moment. Ireland are looking threatening when they can get forward.
21' Ukraine manage to test Kelleher again as Mykolenko blasts at goal from the left of the box. The shot's caught by the Ireland goalkeeper.
19' Dovbyk gets a free-kick in his own half as he's roughed up by Collins.
17' Knight flings a cross into Ukraine's box from the right. Parrott's lurking to the left of the six-yard box to nod it back across goal, but it bounces wide.
15' Lenihan clambers over the back of Malinovsky as the pair go for an aerial ball. The decision goes Ukraine's way.
13' Cullen buys a free-kick in his own half as he's stopped by Shaparenko. Ireland are having to focus on defending at the moment.
11' Chance for Ukraine! Malinovskiy dodges a challenge to lash the ball towards the top right corner from the edge of the box. Kelleher pushes the shot aside. Karavaev's follow-up effort rolls wide.
10' Ukraine pass the ball around tidily as Ireland drop off. The Irish are playing with a back five which is making it hard for the team in blue to break them down.
8' Ireland win a free-kick down their right as Matvyenko barges Molumby off the ball. It's lofted towards Ukraine's box and Dovbyk clears it at the first attempt.
6' Browne plays a sliderule pass down the right for Hogan to latch onto. The Birmingham City forward is flagged offside.
4' Ukraine are enjoying plenty of possession in these early stages. Collins plays his part in bringing the hosts' attack to a halt.
2' Ireland start the game brightly, winning a corner down their right off Malinovskiy. Riznyk claims the ball in easily.
1' Ireland get this game underway!
The two teams are out on the pitch in Lodz. Ukraine are playing in blue. Ireland are wearing their orange and black away kit.
Ireland start with three different players from their last game. O'Shea, Lenihan and Hogan are given the nod. Their captain McClean becomes their seventh-highest appearance maker.
