Kaizer Chiefs Player Ratings: Ngezana and Bvuma disastrous against Mamelodi Sundowns

Awful performance by Amakhosi's number one keeper.

Bvuma couldn't do much about Gaston Sirino's opening goal, then the goals kept flying past him and he was helpless. He faced four shots which all hit the back of the net.

Struggled defensively and didn't offer much going forward.

Blom was caught out of possession a few times and gave the ball away cheaply. He was nowhere to be seen when Abubeker Nassir netted the fourth goal.

Lively in the left flank and he was solid defensively.

Frosler started well making some promising overlapping runs and he missed a sitter after the restart. One of Chiefs' few better performers.

Worst ever performance in his career.

Ngenzana looked out of sorts against Sundowns' explosive attack - he was to blame for the first two goals that Chiefs conceded. Unsurprisingly, substituted at half-time.

Played much better than his partner Ngezana.

Kwinika positioned himself well at times and made some crucial clearances. His last ditch block denied Peter Shalulile what could have been the fifth goal for Downs.

A hard worker in midfield.

Maart played the entire 90 minutes and put in a good, energetic display. He has quickly established himself as Chiefs' best midfielder after joining the team from Sekhukhune United two months ago.

Deployed just in front of the defence.

Alexander failed to protect the backline as he was tormented by Teboho Mokoena and Themba Zwane. He was substituted at half-time.

Failed to perform in his first big game for Chiefs.

Sithebe was caught out of possession a few times and gave the ball away cheaply. He was substituted towards the end of the game.

Mixed bag performance.

Solomons made a few forward runs which created a few problems for the Downs defence in the first-half. He became quiet after the restart.

Infective in the final third.

Dolly's heavy touches let him down as he could not take a shot toward goal. He was substituted towards the end of the game as Chiefs looked to grab a consolation goal.

Not at his best on the day.

However, Billiat did well to use his pace to run in behind the defence on a couple of occasions. His poorly taken penalty was saved by goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.

Came on at half-time and he became a constant threat to Sundowns' defence due to his blistering speed which saw Chiefs being awarded a penalty after he was fouled in the box.

Replaced Ngezana and he played well compared to his teammate, but he should have done better to stop Nassir from scoring.

Introduced in the 72nd minute and he combined well with his teammates, but he spent most of his time in Chiefs' half without creating chances for his teammates.

Struggled against Downs' speed and looked a few yards off the pace having been introduced in the 77th minute.
