Manchester United were reportedly unable to sell Rasmus Hojlund shirts for over a month as they did not have any Danish 'øs' in stock.

    The Denmark international striker completed a £72 million ($90m) transfer from Serie A side Atalanta during the summer transfer window. He has become the most expensive forward ever acquired by the Red Devils.

    The hope is that Hojlund will prove to be an answer to United’s long-standing issues in the No.9 department, although he has been handed the No.11 jersey once worn by club legend Ryan Giggs. His arrival has generated much fanfare, with United followers eager to show their support for the record-setting addition.

The highly-rated 20-year-old made his Premier League debut for the Red Devils off the bench in a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal and will be hoping to figure more prominently after the international break – starting with a home date with Brighton on September 16.
