Basomboli at Kaizer Chiefs: The next Mbesuma or the next Kambole?

It's questionable, though, how much success Amakhosi have had when it comes to importing strikers from the African continent

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly closing in on the signature of Congolese striker Christian Saile Basomboli in the PSL's January transfer window.

Since signing Collins Mbesuma - a big hit at Chiefs - 18 years ago, there have been few real success stories of Amamkhosi strikers signed outside of the PSL from African clubs.
