Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
The win moves Porto to second in Group B while Leverkusen drop to third. The two sides will play in their respective leagues this weekend before the reverse fixture next week in Germany.
Hudson-Odoi thought he put Leverkusen in front after firing past Costa from close range, but a foul in the build-up from Andrich saw the goal disallowed. Taremi then scored past Hradecky inside the six-yard box with a lunging finish, but when Anthony Taylor went to the VAR monitor, he disallowed the goal and awarded a penalty for the visitors after a handball from Carmo. Schick stepped up to take the penalty but his shot was saved by Costa low to his left. Zaidu finally broke the deadlock for Porto in the 69th minute as his header from Taremi's cross was too powerful for Hradecky to stop. The defender also made a vital tackle at the other end to stop Diaby from scoring. Galeno then made it 2-0 to finish the game off as Hradecky's toe to the ball could not stop it from going in. Frimpong then received a second yellow card after a clumsy challenge on Galeno and was sent off for Leverkusen to round off a disappointing night for the visitors.
