Samuel Chukwueze against Real Madrid.
Could the Super Eagles wideman be the man to solve Chelsea's ongoing problems?

Fans believe Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze would be a huge success at Chelsea and make them a threat on the right wing given how good he has been for his club.

The Nigeria international was among the standout performers as the Yellow Submarine beat La Liga champions Real Madrid 2-1 on Saturday, drawing plenty of praise from fans.

Chukwueze made life difficult for Madrid defenders with his pace, incisiveness and tenacity, creating three big chances for his teammates while making two attempts at goal and was also an asset for his team defensively.

His impressive performance has left fans feeling he should be playing for a much bigger club than Villarreal, with the Blues seen as the side that could benefit from his skillset.

Should be playing for a big team

This game confirms to me what I’ve always thought: I refuse to believe Chukwueze doesn’t have the potential to play in a big team. He’s extremely explosive, agile, world class dribbler, has good body coordination, has a strong core. He’s one of the few certainly good left-footed right-wingers. -@danieIscouting

Chelsea should go all out and snatch Chukwueze from Villarreal to reinforce the right wing. Very good ball retention and eluding from tight spaces. -@enovelist1

Samuel Chukwueze still has immense problems with his finishing. Vinicius who was in the same class with him has left him. -@fafamaruku

  9. Should play the same for Nigeria

Should play the same for Nigeria

Chukwueze (Villarreal) is punishing Madrid, just like many other La Liga clubs. I don't know why these guys play shabbily while playing for [the] Super Eagles. -@mb_mafara
