    Nwakaeme ended his five-game goal drought in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday with a brace in Trabzonspor's 4-0 thrashing of Alanyaspor.

    The 32-year-old scored two first-half goals to take his tally to eight after 20 league games so far this season.

    The RB Leipzig loanee put Leicester City level on Sunday but it was not enough as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

    The new Super Eagles star found the back of the net in the 41st minute and he played the duration of the match for Brendan Rodgers' men.

    The 25-year-old continued his impressive scoring form in the Spanish second-tier with a quick-fire brace in Almeria's 2-1 victory over Mirandes.

    The lanky striker put the hosts in front in the 69th minute and he later restored doubled the lead, three minutes later.

    Sadiq has scored in each of his last three games for Rubi's side and he is third in the league scoring chart with 12 goals.

    Simon played a key role in Saturday's Ligue 1 fixture as Nantes stunned leaders Paris Saint-Germain 3-1.

    The 27-year-old laid the assist for Randal Kolo-Muani to open the scoring for the Canaries, four minutes into the encounter.

    Simon has seven assists and a goal to his name so far in the French top-flight this campaign.
