Gordon's goodbye message to Everton
After digging his heels in and skipping multiple training sessions, Anthony Gordon finally got his wish as he completed a £40m transfer to Newcastle this weekend.
In an emotional message to his former supporters, he wrote: "There have been some difficult moments this year but I never took any of it personally; stick by the team because they need you.
" I love this club and always have from the day I joined but the time has come for me to leave. I know many won't understand but the next chapter awaits. I will always wish the best for this club and always be watching on."

Bellerin set for Sporting switch
According to reports, former Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is set to leave Barcelona and join Sporting CP in the coming days.
The Portuguese side are on the lookout for a new wingback with Pedro Porro closing in on a move to Tottenham.
Bellerin may be open to a move due to his lack of game time in Spain so far this season, with just seven appearances to his name in all competitions.

Speaking after Brighton’s FA Cup win over Liverpool, manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted his side are ready for life without Moises Caicedo amid a recent transfer offer from Arsenal.

Shelvey set to be Forest's 25th signing
Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey looks set to become Nottingham Forest's 25th signing since their promotion to the Premier League, according to The Telegraph.
The January transfer window closes on Tuesday but those at the City Ground appear confident that a deal can get over the line in time.
The 30-year-old has made just five appearances for the Magpies this campaign, and could make the switch to Forest for more game time, as they aim to cement their place in the Premier League next term.
PSV eye move for Thorgan Hazard
PSV Eindhoven are considering signing Borussia Dortmund winger Thorgan Hazard, writes Dutch outlet Eindhovens Dagblad.
The Belgium international has one goal in 21 appearances this season for Dortmund, although could provide the necessary reinforcements following the winter departures of Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke to Liverpool and Chelsea, respectively.
Klopp rules out further Liverpool signings

Navas set for Forest medical
Football Insider reports that PSG and Nottingham Forest reached a breakthrough in talks on Sunday over the transfer of veteran goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who is set to have his medical in the next 24 hours.
The 36-year-old has struggled from a lack of game time in the French capital since joining from Real Madrid in 2019, and would battle for places in Nottingham with Wayne Hennessy and in-form loanee Dean Henderson.

Asensio's future uncertain at Madrid
Marco Asensio has been offered a new deal to extend his stay at Real Madrid, however Spanish outlet Marca report that several other clubs have made an approach for the midfielder.
The situation leaves Asensio's future in the Spanish capital unclear. His lack of game-time under Carlo Ancelotti - in which he has started just three of 18 matches this campaign - could see him seek pastures new in January or the summer.

Tottenham submit €25m offer for Hincapie
According to German outlet BILD, Tottenham Hotspur have submitted a €25 million (£22m/$27.2m) verbal offer to Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of centre-back Piero Hincapie.
The Ecuador international has long been a target of Spurs, with Antonio Conte eyeing defensive reinforcements this winter.
Leverkusen are thought to want more than €25m for the 21-year-old, meaning Spurs are likely to come back with an improved offer if Hincapie is to become their third January acquisition, behind Arnaut Danjuma and the imminent arrival of Pedro Porro from Sporting.
