‘Maema can bench Ronaldo at Al-Nassr’ - Fans praise Mamelodi Sundowns' match-winner against SuperSport United

The supporters were impressed by the 27-year-old’s display as he netted the only goal in Masandwana’s victory in the Tshwane derby.

Mamelodi Sundowns fans have showered praise on midfielder Neo Maema who scored the lone goal in their 1-0 victory over SuperSport United on Monday.

Maema profited from poor defending in the box to connect well with a loose ball to fire home in 43rd minute, with his tenacity in midfield making the Brazilians dangerous in the Tshwane derby.

While Sundowns fans were impressed with their team’s fighting spirit, they singled out the 27-year-old for special accolades, with some even claiming he is better than Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
