    Goalkeeper & Defence

    Alisson Becker (8/10):

Good save to deny Vinicius in the first half, and a better one from the same player in the second.

    Trent Alexander-Arnold (7/10):

Brimming with confidence and purpose in his new hybrid role. Defended well in the main.

    Ibrahima Konate (6/10):

A few big sliding interventions in the first half. Not as comfortable in the second.

    Virgil van Dijk (7/10):

Goal-saving interception in the first half. Had the measure of Vinicius 1v1.

    Kostas Tsimikas (6/10):

Struggled initially with the offside line but did OK once he'd got to grips.

  2. Midfield

    Fabinho (7/10):

Better in terms of being in the right place to win the ball, and better distribution too, though still not at his very best.

    Jordan Henderson (7/10):

Did what he needed to for the team, working his socks off and keeping it simple for the most part. Nearly scored with a 25-yarder.

    Curtis Jones (7/10):

You can see the confidence growing in his game each week. Faded a bit second half but generally did well.

    Attack

    Mohamed Salah (7/10):

Has got his penalty-taking radar sorted, as he closes in on Steven Gerrard on the all-time Liverpool scoring list. Not at his best but good enough.

    Luis Diaz (7/10):

Looking sharper by the game. His driving runs have been missed, and regularly threatened to open up Fulham in his hour or so on the field.

    Darwin Nunez (6/10):

Not always a great deal of quality, but he pressed and worked from the front, exactly as Klopp would have wanted. His graft won Liverpool their penalty, but he needs to improve his all-round game.

  4. Subs & Manager

    Cody Gakpo (6/10):

Some nice touches after replacing Diaz.

    Andy Robertson (6/10):

    Tough game to come into.

    Diogo Jota (5/10):

    A little loose.

    James Milner (6/10):

On to see out the win.

    Harvey Elliott (6/10):

Worked hard after being barracked by the Fulham fans.

    Jurgen Klopp (7/10):

Has got his team winning again, even when below their best.
