Amakhosi are back in Durban but this time to face Usuthu as they continue to push for a first piece of silverware since 2015

Kaizer Chiefs' bid for a first trophy under Arthur Zwane takes them to Moses Mabhida Stadium where they clash with AmaZulu in the MTN8 semi-final, second leg on Sunday.

The reverse leg at FNB Stadium ended 1-1 earlier this month, giving AmaZulu a slight edge going into Sunday's showdown.

Zwane would want to field his strongest possible team to cancel the advantage Usuthu have and this is how he picked his starting line-up.

  • Brandon Petersen of Kaizer Chiefs.

    GOALKEEPER - Brandon Petersen

After Bruce Bvuma conceded two goals last Wednesday and with Itumeleng Khune injured, Petersen is back in goals for Chiefs.

  • Reeve Frosler of Kaizer Chiefs.

The two-footed defender, who started the season playing as a left-back, has excelled in his natural position having started four matches in a row.

  • Sifiso Hlanti, Kaizer Chiefs, September 2022

The former AmaZulu star will be hoping to haunt Usuthu by playing a vital role in helping Amakhosi secure a win which would earn the Soweto giants a place in the final.

  • Zitha Kwinika Kaizer Chiefs, August 2022

    CENTRE BACK - Zitha Kwinika

The experienced defender marked his return to the starting line-up with a decent performance in midweek and he will be up against AmaZulu's speedy forward Frank Mhango.

The Mozambique international, who was not at his best against Galaxy, will be looking to regain the form which saw him pick up two Man of the Match accolades this term.

  • Njabulo Blom, Kaizer Chiefs, October 2022

Arguably Chiefs' most consistent player at the moment, the 22-year-old will be eager to produce a solid performance while protecting Amakhosi's backline.

  • Yusuf Maart of Kaizer Chiefs.

The former Cape Umoya United star has been blowing hot and cold lately, but he remains one of Zwane's most trusted players.

  • Kgaogelo Sekgota Kaizer Chiefs.

    ATTACKING MIDFIELDER - Kgaogelo Sekgota

Sekgota has become one of coach Zwane's favourites and is slowly building a good combination with Keagan Dolly.

The mercurial attacker will be brimming with confidence after ending his eight-match goal drought with a goal in the game against Galaxy.

  • Keagan Dolly of Kaizer Chiefs

    LEFT FORWARD - Keagan Dolly

The Chiefs vice-captain scored a wonderful goal in midweek which ensured that the game ended in a draw and he will be hoping to lead the team to a win over a stubborn Usuthu side.
