Manchester United will use the Qatar World Cup to scout 20-year-old Ghanaian sensation Kamaldeen Sulemana, according to The Guardian's Ed Aarons, who spoke to GIVEMESPORT.

The 20-year-old attacker will likely be a key player for his nation at the tournament, which Aarons believes will prompt United to keep their eyes locked onto him throughout the competition.

Manchester United have already held talks over a move for current AC Milan forward Brahim Diaz, and are keen to bring him to Old Trafford, according to Spanish outlet Nacional.

They state that the Red Devils have already held talks with his camp and would make him a key player within the side. Milan, who don't yet own Diaz, would expect a fee of around £47.2m.

Frenkie de Jong remains keen to stay at Barcelona and continue his stay at the Camp Nou, despite Manchester United and Chelsea still holding an interest in him, according to SPORT.

The Dutchman's proposed transfer to United was the saga of the summer, but the deal fell through. The report states that his stance has not changed; he wants to stay in Barcelona.

Ajax will send current loanee Mohamed Ihattaren back to Juventus in January, Football Italia reports.

The 20-year-old returned to Holland after signing for Juve from PSV, but has failed to make an appearance and establish himself.

AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has signed a contract extension with the club through to June 2025.

The news was confirmed via the club's official website and states: "AC Milan and Stefano shall continue to work on this ambitious project which reflects the club's history and values."

Franck Kessie will not leave Barcelona in January after signing for the club as a free agent in the summer, confirms Fabrizio Romano.

The Ivorian has found regular game time difficult to come by at his new club and reports have suggested he could already seek an exit, but Romano states there has been no discussions over a loan move as of yet.

Southampton, Brighton and Leeds United are interested in signing Cadiz CF defender Momo Mbaye according to Fichajes.

While Mbaye's contract with the club expires in 2024, Cadiz are reportedly planning to offer him a new contract soon.

Celtic are closing in on signing Vissel Kobe defender Yuki Kobayashi according to Sponichi.

A fee has been agreed between both clubs and Kobayashi will join the Scottish giants next season.

Newcastle United will compete with Chelsea to secure the signature of Brighton star Leandro Trossard according to The Northern Echo.

The Belgian's current contract expires in 2024 but both Chelsea and the Magpies are keen on signing the player in January.

Manchester United have identified Norwich City's Max Aarons as their primary target for the right-back position according to Football Insider.

The youngster has a contract until 2024 and is valued at around £15m.

Newcastle United are planning to offer a new and improved deal to Bruno Guimaraes to tie him down at the club for a longer period according to Football Insider.

The new contract will see the Brazilian earn around £200,000 a week. Major European clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Liverpool have their eyes on the 24-year-old midfielder.

Barcelona have entered the race to sign Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson according to Mundo Deportivo.

Everton and Aston Villa are also after the 21-year-old attacker whose contract expires next summer.

Three clubs were interested in signing Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson according to Fabrizio Romano via Caughtoffside.

The journalist claimed, "More than three clubs asked for Nelson on loan in the summer, but Arsenal decided to keep him."

Chelsea are planning to sign Brighton's Leandro Trossard as early as in the upcoming January transfer window according to The Express.

The Blues have been monitoring the Belgian for the past few weeks now. Trossard too is keen on reuniting with his former manager Graham Potter.

Arsenal have shown interest in signing Orlando City attacker Facundo Torres in January according to Evening Standard.

The Premier League leaders are reportedly planning to hold talks with the 22-year-old Uruguayan whom they want to sign to provide competition to Bukayo Saka on the right flank.

Barcelona are set to try and re-sign Lionel Messi from Barcelona in January - according to Diario Sport.

The 35-year-old has been linked with a return to Camp Nou next summer, when his contract at Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire.

Barca are eager to fast-track the process, but Messi has insisted he won't make a final decision on his future until the end of the season.

Blackburn striker Ben Brereton-Diaz is out of contract in June 2023, with The Sun reporting that Arsenal and Newcastle are the latest to join the race for the 23-year-old.

The Championship side are reportedly willing to let the Chile international to run down his contract, meaning he would be available on a free transfer to either side. Other interested parties include Sevilla, Nice and West Ham.
