Commentary

Bayern and Inter can now relax and see who they get in next week's last-16 draw. Whoever they're set to face, both teams will be tricky opponents. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Bayern finish top of Group C with a perfect 18 points then. They had 23 shots to Inter's seven here and were well worthy of their victory. Inter also progress from the group with a respectable 10 points. The Italians were second best here, but they'll surely put up more of a fight in games that matter.
Bayern become the first Champions League side to win all their group games in consecutive campaigns! The hosts didn't have to work too hard for their record-breaking win, thanks to this game being largely redundant. Inter made a decent contest of it but couldn't lay a glove on the Germans. As soon as Choupo-Moting put Bayern 2-0 up in the second half, it was game over.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 2-0 INTER
90' + 3' Inter get one last chance to pull a goal back when Dzeko pulls the trigger from the centre of the box, aiming for the bottom right corner. Ulreich makes the save. Bayern endure the resulting corner, and that's that!
90' + 1' There'll be three more minutes of this almost entirely meaningless game. It's been diverting enough.
V. Carboni
Yellow Card
90' Inter's substitute Carboni picks up a late booking for an ill-timed challenge on Sabitzer.
89' Calhanoglu sends the free-kick into Bayern's box. Dzeko leaps into the air to reach it but can't keep his header down.
J. Stanišić
Yellow Card
88' Stanisic is shown the yellow card for unfairly impeding Dzeko down Inter's right.
88' Kimmich picks out Davies' run into the box with a chipped pass over the top. The Canadian fluffs his header, and Onana gathers it.
86' Inter are still occasionally trying to score, but they're not really trying. Barella's attempted throughball doesn't work out.
84' Wanner chases after the ball and unfairly catches Calhanoglu. Inter have no motivation to stage a comeback.
82' Darmian hands Bayern a corner. The hosts don't achieve very much with it, but they don't need to at this stage.
80' Wanner checks onto his left foot and smashes the ball against Darmian. It'd be a great moment for him if he were to score.
78' This game's been over as a contest since Choupo-Moting's goal. There's a friendly feel to proceedings now.
P. Wanner
K. Coman
76' Bayern use their last change of the game to bring on another youth product, the 16-year-old midfielder Wanner. Off comes Coman.
M. Škriniar
S. de Vrij
76' De Vrij gets an early rest too. Skriniar takes the Dutchman's place at centre-back for Inter.
V. Carboni
J. Correa
76' Inter seem to have realised the jig is up. Carboni takes Correa's place on the pitch.
74' Choupo-Moting's goal was his third in the Champions League this season. He's scored in each of his last five starts in the competition now. He's a player Bayern can trust to deliver.
M. Tel
E. Choupo-Moting
73' Scoring is Choupo-Moting's last act of the game. The 17-year-old French forward Tel replaces him.
A. Davies
Assist
72' All Davies had to do was find Choupo-Moting and the Cameroonian did the rest. The three points look to be Bayern's now.
E. Choupo-Moting
Goal
72' GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 2-0 INTER! Choupo-Moting blasts Bayern into a two-goal lead, receiving a pass from Davies to find the top left corner from distance. Onana wasn't keeping that one out.
72' Onana takes the sting out of Gravenberch's rocket from outside the box. Up the other end, Mkhitaryan gives Ulreich similar work to do.
70' Musiala skips past a few challenges in the box and forces Onana to stop him from finding the bottom left corner. That's Bayern's best chance in a while.
68' Onana claims Kimmich's clipped ball over the top. The Bayern fans are making a decent racket.
S. Gnabry
S. Mané
66' Mane heads off next. On comes Gnabry for Bayern.
J. Musiala
N. Mazraoui
65' Bayern bring on more fresh legs. Musiala takes Mazraoui's place on the pitch.
65' Inter can't get near the ball at the moment. Bayern are keeping possession with ease.
62' Bayern work the ball from left to right. Mazraoui's cross is headed away, and Davies' blocked shot pops up for Choupo-Moting, who finishes smartly with an overhead kick. It's a shame he's offside.
E. Džeko
Lautaro Martínez
60' The ineffectual Martinez is the last Inter player to go off for now. He must regret his first-half miss. Dzeko replaces him.
H. Çalhanoğlu
R. Gagliardini
60' Gagliardini's the next Inter player to make way. Çalhanoglu takes his place in midfield.
H. Mkhitaryan
N. Barella
60' Here are those Inter changes. Barella's hooked first. On comes Mkhitaryan.
58' Sabitzer protests after sliding in on Martinez to give away a foul. Inter are preparing a few substitutions.
56' As things stand, Bayern have had 17 shots to Inter's four. Inter may have improved, but they're still not really worrying their hosts.
54' Mane hooks a deflected cross over from the centre of the box. Bayern look likely to score again at some point.
52' Inter are playing slightly better since the break. Correa holds up play in the box for Gagliardini to fire straight at Ulreich.
50' Kimmich lines up a drill of a shot from the edge of the box. It whistles just wide of the right-hand post.
J. Kimmich
Yellow Card
48' Kimmich lands his name in the referee's book for a bad tackle on Bellanova.
47' Inter get a free-kick in a central position when Mazraoui stops Gagliardini. They have a few players offside when Asllani's ball in is powered into the net by Acerbi. The linesman's flag goes up straight away.
46' Bayern get the second half started. Inter haven't made any changes.
A. Davies
D. Upamecano
46' Bayern make a half-time substitution. Davies replaces Upamecano.
Bayern have stopped the opposition from scoring a first-half goal in all six of their group-stage games, more than any other side in this season's Champions League. Nagelsmann's men look very solid indeed. Inter haven't created much so far here, but they're only a goal down. They can still salvage something in the second half.
Bayern will be pleased with their work in that first half. The Germans have largely controlled the game and have the lead through Pavard's header from a corner. Inter had a viable penalty claim against Mane turned down at 0-0, and squandered a good chance to equalise due to an uncharacteristic miss from Martinez. More to come!
45' + 5' HALF-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 1-0 INTER
45' + 4' Mane's cutback causes confusion in Inter's box. Choupo-Moting looks to latch on the loose ball, and Onana dives at the striker's feet of the striker to grab it first. That's all for now.
45' + 3' Bayern keep possession from their latest corner. Coman successfully tricks Barella and lures the Inter man into tripping him.
45' + 2' Choupo-Moting shoots well wide of the left-hand post from a difficult angle. Bayern come straight back and Coman lashes at Onana from distance, forcing the Inter goalkeeper to tip the ball out for another Bayern corner.
45' + 1' Coman darts inside from the right and finds Sabitzer inside the D. The midfielder's shot deflects out for a Bayern corner.
45' There'll be four added minutes until half-time.
44' Bellanova's fine to carry on. Barella is unable to prevent Bayern from earning a throw-in down the hosts' left.
42' Bayern's free-kick doesn't trouble Onana in Inter's goal. Play's stopped as Bellanova takes an accidental whack to the head in an aerial challenge.
R. Gosens
Yellow Card
40' Gosen gets a yellow card of his own for a tactical foul.on Coman.
M. Sabitzer
Yellow Card
38' Sabitzer's shown the game's first yellow card for a late tackle on Darmian. He'll miss Bayern's next match in the round of 16.
37' Mazraoui shoots well off-target from outside the box. Bayern aren't giving Inter much room to manoeuvre at all.
36' Bayern get the ball back and march forward themselves. Mane checks inside on his right foot and curls a decent effort towards the top right corner. Onana is able to catch it.
34' Inter try to make amends straight away, keeping possession for a while in Bayern's half. Nothing comes of it though.
J. Kimmich
Assist
33' Kimmich's delivery there was excellent, and Pavard made sure he got on the end of it. Bayern just about deserve their lead on the balance of play.
B. Pavard
Goal
32' GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 1-0 INTER! This goal is as simple as they come. Kimmich whips the corner in. Pavard gets the better of his marker and nods the ball down into the turf and up into the net.
30' De Vrij intervenes to prevent Mazraoui from reaching a promising throughball. Bayern get a corner down their right.
28' Sabitzer fires way over from way out. Bayern are largely on top, but they've already gotten lucky a few times.
26' Big chance for Inter! Gosens powers down the left and rolls the ball across the six-yard box for the arriving Martinez. The Inter captain slides in to convert into an empty net but can only send his effort high and wide!
24' Sabitzer gets on the end of Stanisic's cross and has a header blocked. Choupo-Moting receives the ball and lays it off in the direction of the Austrian but the Cameroonian's pass is too close to Onana.
22' De Vrij catches Kimmich, sending the Bayern midfielder up into the air. The hosts gratefully accept the free-kick.
20' Mane sends a right-footed cross into Inter's box which the visitors clear. Inzaghi gives his players some encouragement.
18' Gosens and Mazraoui clash heads as the pair challenge each other for a header. Both players need some treatment but look to be OK.
16' Bayern win a free-kick down their right which Kimmich whips in. Inter manage to deal with it at the first attempt.
14' Bayern push a bit more for an opening goal. Kimmich fires straight against an Inter defender before hooking high and wide from the right of the box.
12' Bayern take heart from their lucky escape as Choupo-Moting has a shot blocked. Onana claims Kimmich's follow-up shot. Inter might have protested that penalty decision more if something more than pride were riding on this game.
10' NO PENALTY FOR INTER! The referee Ivan Kruzliak decides that a corner is sufficient punishment for Mane's block. Inter's players approach the official for an explanation. In the end, the corner's a non-event.
8' Inter's latest corner comes in and is headed out to Barella, who hits the ball powerfully on the volley. The shot's straight at Mane, who raises his hands to protect his face. It deflects out for another corner, but VAR tells the official to go to the pitchside monitor...
7' Bellanova goes up against Stanisic down the right for Inter and wins a corner for his team. It's laid off to Barella who thumps it towards goal from the edge of the box! Ulreich makes a smart save.
5' Mane and Kimmich combine to escape Inter's press in their own half. Darmian hands Bayern a long-range free-kick that Kimmich fires straight into the hands of Onana.
3' Mane looks to free Sabitzer on the underlap down Bayern's left. The Senegal winger's attempted pass rolls out of play for an Inter goal-kick.
1' Inter get things underway!
Bayern and Inter have met on eight previous occasions in Europe. The German side have won half of those meetings and are unbeaten in their three previous Champions League group stage matches. However, the Italians haven't lost in their previous three trips to Munich. Both teams would no doubt take a draw here.
Inter make seven changes to their team from their 3-0 victory over Sampdoria as Simone Inzaghi freshens things up. Only Onana, de Vrij, Barella and captain Martinez keep their places.
There are five changes to Bayern from their 6-2 home victory over Mainz in the Bundesliga last weekend. Pavard, Stanisic, Sabitzer, Gravenberch and Coman come into the starting 11.
SUBS: Alex Cordaz, Samir Handanovic, Alessandro Bastoni, Edin Dzeko, Alessandro Fontanarosa, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Dennis Curatolo, Valentin Carboni, Hakan Calhanoglu, Milan Skriniar, Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries.
INTER (3-5-2): André Onana; Matteo Darmian, Stefan de Vrij, Francesco Acerbi; Raoul Bellanova, Nicolo Barella, Kristjan Asllani, Roberto Gagliardini, Robin Gosens; Lautaro Martinez (c), Joaquin Correa.
SUBS: Arijon Ibrahimovic, Gabriel Marusic, Mathys Tel, Leon Goretzka, Paul Wanner, Serge Gnabry, Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala, Johannes Schenk, Justin Janitzek.
BAYERN MUNICH (4-2-3-1): Sven Ulreich; Noussair Mazraoui, Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano, Josip Stanisic; Joshua Kimmich (c), Marcel Sabitzer; Kingsley Coman, Ryan Gravenberch, Sadio Mane; Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Looking to prevent that achievement are visitors Inter, who have also secured their passage to the last 16. The Italians are unbeaten in their last three away games in the Champions League, and have won four of their last five games held in Germany. As dead rubbers go, this one still looks tasty.
Group C may already be wrapped up with all four teams' positions decided, but group winners Bayern still have records in their sights. A win here for the Germans would see them become the first team in Champions League history to win all six group games in consecutive campaigns.
