Predicting Kaizer Chiefs' XI to face Stellenbosch FC in PSL encounter

The former Bafana Bafana captain will be eager to lead Amakhosi to another win in Stellenbosch having been the hero as the Soweto giants won their MTN8 clash on penalties two months ago.

The former South Africa youth international played well on his return to the starting line-up in midweek and he is unlikely to be dropped.

Chiefs' first-choice left-back is slowly regaining the form which saw him become one of the best full-backs in the PSL and a permanent fixture in the Bafana squad.  

The Folweni-born defender is expected to get the nod ahead of Siyabonga Ngezana and fill the void left by the suspended Kwinika in central defence, while Erick Mathoho is out injured.

The in-form defender, who picked up a Man of the Match award following the Soweto Derby clash, will be keen to continue his good form.

The midfield enforcer has become a consistent performer for Amakhosi and he is the shield that protects the Glamour Boys' defence.

Chiefs' first-choice midfielder will be looking to dominate the midfield battle and put his side in a good position to win the game having missed the MTN8 clash against Stellies due to suspension.

The former Ajax Cape Town star, who has scored in each of his last three matches including the Macufe Cup clash against Royal AM, will be eager to continue his scoring form.

The 25-year-old will be hoping to haunt his former club once again having scored against Stellenbosch in the cup encounter and he did not celebrate out of respect for his ex-employers. 

The Polokwane United academy product is playing some of his best football at the moment having grabbed an assist during the win over Swallows.

The Bujumbura-born frontman netted his third goal of the season in midweek and will be determined to add to his tally when he faces Stellenbosch who kept a clean sheet against Maritzburg United on Tuesday.
