  1. Wayne Sandilands - 6/10

    Wayne Sandilands - 6/10

Seldomly threatened as he enjoyed a quiet evening between the sticks.

Sandilands could only charge off of his line at times to punch the ball clear or make high claims as the Bucs defence looked solid and impenetrable.

  2. Siphesihle Ndlovu - 6/10

    Siphesihle Ndlovu - 6/10

Rarely tested defensively at right-back with Al Ahli looking to attack down the centre.

Ndlovu ventured forward to help out the attack, but his deliveries lacked accuracy on the night.

  3. Paseka Mako - 7/10

    Paseka Mako - 7/10

Did a good job pushing high up and exploiting the spaces behind the Al Ahli defence.

Mako also combined well with his teammates on many occasions to work the ball around the visitors' half.

  4. Ntsikelelo Nyauza - 8/10

    Ntsikelelo Nyauza - 8/10

Rock-solid at the back and he never gave Al Ahli an inch of space to work with.

Nyauza also did well to cover up for Mako when left-back embarked upfield and took his goal very well when he opened the scoring.

  5. Happy Jele - 7/10

    Happy Jele - 7/10

Led Pirates' backline with great composure on his return to the starting line-up.

Jele won his duels against Al Ahli's centre forward Taha Qadri Atiyah and he did well to organise the backline.

  6. Ben Motshwari - 7/10

    Ben Motshwari - 7/10

Played well as the anchor of the Pirates' ship in midfield.

Motshwari's passes were incisive as he read the game very well and he made interceptions to stop Al Ahli in their tracks.

  7. Kabelo Dlamini - 8/10

    Kabelo Dlamini - 8/10

His movements were a big problem for Al Ahlil all night.

Dlamini made dangerous runs from midfield - forcing the visitors to commit several fouls and he managed to score after positioning himself well in the box.

  8. Fortune Makaringe - 6/10

    Fortune Makaringe - 6/10

    Constantly involved in the attack.

However, Makaringe couldn't really test the visitors most of the time and he also gave away possession in the final third at times.

  9. Frank Mhango - 6/10

    Frank Mhango - 6/10

Imperious attacking display by the current PSL Golden Boot holder.

Mhango used his speed to unsettle the visitors' defence, but chances did not fell for him in the box.

  10. Deon Hotto - 7/10

Caught the eye on his return from an injury.

Hotto delivered some excellent crosses and he had one assist to show for his efforts too as Tshegofatso Mabasa netted from his corner-kick.

  11. Tshegofatso Mabasa- 8/10

Always biting on the heels of Al Ahli defenders with his high-press.

Mabasa also caused havoc for the visitors' defence with his imposing physique and he doubled Pirates' lead with a header.

  12. Vincent Pule - 6/10
