Alex Iwobi is expected to be in action when Everton travel to high-flying Tottenham Hotspur looking to return to winning ways after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

At the King Power Stadium, Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze could start for Crystal Palace who seek consecutive Premier League victories.

In Serie A, Victor Osimhen returned to action with a goal in Napoli’s 4-2 Champions League success over Ajax and will hope for a start when the Partenopei play host to Bologna.

  • Joe Aribo Southampton 2022-23

    Joe Aribo

A mixed performance in Southampton’s 4-0 thrashing by Manchester City last time out highlighted the weaknesses in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s approach.

Nevertheless, Aribo’s recent deployment as one of the two number 10s in the Austrian’s 4-2-2-2 approach will bear more fruits than dispiriting outcomes.

The Saints play host to West Ham United aiming to end a run of four defeats on the trot against opponents that have won two Premier League games in succession.

  • Alex Iwobi

Saturday’s tea-time fixture in the league sees Everton travel to Tottenham Hotspur hoping to capitalise on any accumulated fatigue from the Lilywhites’ European exertions.

Iwobi is expected to play from the off for Frank Lampard’s crew, as the Merseyside club hope to end a run of three games without success against the capital club

Spurs have won four from four at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this term and are favourites to maintain their unblemished record on home turf.

  • Eberechi Eze

    Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise

Eze and Olise were instrumental to Crystal Palace’s last win — scoring the winner and assisting the equaliser, respectively — in the 2-1 win over Leeds United.

It will be interesting to see if both men are deployed as one of the free eights in the midfield three when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Sunday’s win ended Palace’s four-game winless run in the league and they seek successive wins at the Foxes.

  • Osimhen, Napoli

    Victor Osimhen

A late goal for the returning Osimhen on Wednesday sealed Napoli’s 4-2 success over Ajax and the Super Eagle will hope for a start against Bologna.

Luciano Spalletti’s men have dropped only two points at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and will back themselves to beat a side that has picked up one point from a possible 12 on their travels.

Osimhen has netted twice in Serie A this term, but his last domestic goal came in August, and the marksman will want to end his ongoing three-game run without a league goal.

  • Ademola Lookman

    Ademola Lookman

Lookman’s third top-flight goal put Atalanta 1-0 up in the eventual 2-2 draw with fellow early-season high-flyers Udinese as both clubs avoided defeat.

The attacker could make his sixth Serie A start for La Dea when the Bergamaschi host a Sassuolo side that are unbeaten in their last three away games, picking up five points from the last available nine on their travels.

Atalanta may be unbeaten at the Gewiss Stadium but their 50 percent win record (two wins, two draws) suggests Sassuolo could have a chance in Saturday’s clash.

  • Terem Moffi Lorient 2022-23

    Terem Moffi

A brace for the in-form Lorient man at Stade Brest took his Ligue 1 tally this season to eight, joint-top with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar heading into round 11.

Moffi and his teammates play host to Stade de Reims expected to pick up a win after the team’s strongest start to the top flight in their history.

Reims have won only one game in 10, but their tendency to play out stalemates means Lorient must be wary heading into Saturday’s meeting.
