Manchester United have held talks with Switzerland international goalkeeper Yann Sommer according to TeamTalk.
Sommer's current contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach expires at the end of the ongoing season and the Red Devils are planning to bring him for free to replace David De Gea.

The journalist claimed, "There’s definitely interest here and there’s been an interest for a long, long time. Liverpool have looked at this in the past but he got a pretty serious injury and that was around the time when they probably had the most interest in him."
