EPL Best Bets Matchweek 15: Premier League Predictions & Bet Picks

St Mary's Stadium
With the penultimate round of EPL fixtures before the World Cup approaching we have selected the three best bets for this weekend

After Matchweek 14 in the Premier League, Arsenal remains two points clear of Manchester City for the top spot in the table. Chelsea remains in the top 6 after their humbling 4-1 loss to Brighton, but are just two points clear of Fulham, who are undefeated in their last four matches.

Leicester City, Wolverhampton, and Nottingham Forest currently occupy the relegation zone, with Leeds United, Aston Villa, and Southampton narrowly above by one point. That said, it is still early, and only five points separate a top-half finish (Crystal Palace) from relegation.

Let’s look at the current betting lines to find best bets and props for Matchweek 15 in the Premier League.

Matthew Williams' 2022-23 EPL/UCL Betting Record: 43-29 (+35.9 units)

Southampton vs Newcastle Best Bet

➕ Newcastle Wins (-110) at BetMGM

WAGER: 1 Unit

Newcastle are currently in prime form, sitting fourth in the Premier League table. However, this fixture with Southampton has the makings of a mismatch, given the Magpies' current form.

If looking for a player prop, I would bank on Callum Wilson reaching the back of the net in a 2-0 Newcastle victory on the road, while the Saints drift deeper toward relegation.

Nottingham Forest vs Brentford Best Bet

➕ Brentford Wins & Both Teams Score (+360) at BetMGM

WAGER: 1 Unit

Forest is coming off a shocking 1-0 victory over Liverpool and a resounding 5-0 beating at the hands of Arsenal, so I expect a performance somewhere in the middle when Nottingham takes on Brentford.

The Bees currently sit 11th in the table, having conceded 22 goals while scoring 19 times. Forest does not field a powerful attack, but I expect them to reach the back of the net at home in this showdown.

Even without Ivan Toney, who will miss the match due to yellow card accumulation, I predict a 2-1 victory for Brentford.

Wolverhampton vs Brighton Best Bet

➕ Brighton Wins & Under 2.5 Goals (+340) at BetMGM

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Seagulls are coming off a massive win over former manager Graham Potter, and are in a solid position to carry that momentum forward against the Wolves.

A clean sheet is very possible for Brighton considering that Wolverhampton have managed to score just six goals in the Premier League this season.

I expect an easy victory for Brighton on the road. Wolves 0-2 Brighton.
