The result means that the Netherlands remain top of Group G, but with Norway beating Montenegro 2-0, their lead is still just two points. Gibraltar, meanwhile, stay bottom of the group.
The Netherlands complete a comprehensive 6-0 win over Gibraltar. They got off to a quick start too: within 10 minutes Van Dijk thumped in a header to ease any nerves. And despite Depay's penalty miss on 19 minutes, they made it two when Depay tapped in from close range. Depay then made up for his earlier miss from the spot, when Valarino handled Berghuis' shot. After VAR awarded the Netherlands a second penalty, Depay stepped up and made it 3-0. The second half continued in a similar vein: goals from Dumfries, Danjuma and Malen made it 6-0 as the hosts eased to another win.

85' The goalline technology replays have been shown, and Weghorst's chance couldn't have been any closer to going in. The technology revealed that a tiny fraction of the ball hadn't crossed the line!

The ball looks to be trickling over the line but Chipolina scrambles back to hook it away! Looking at the replays, that looked incredibly close to going fully over the line - Weghorst certainly believed it had.

Gibraltar defended well against endless Netherlands' attacks in that half and will be hoping to show similar discipline to avoid a hammering in the second period.
The Netherlands take a commanding 3-0 lead into the break. The hosts have dominated this game throughout and got to work quickly: within 10 minutes, Van Dijk had fired in a header to give them the lead. And, despite a penalty miss from Depay - and a fine save from Banda - they doubled their lead when Depay tapped in following a selfless Klaassen pass. Gibraltar were put under constant pressure, and defended bravely throughout. But they buckled again in stoppage time when VAR awarded the hosts a second penalty for a handball. 43' Superb save! An intricate move from the hosts ends with Berghuis releasing Wijnaldum with a deft flick. Wijnaldum has plenty of time to pick his spot from eight yards, and he smashes a low shot towards the right corner that Banda instinctively turns behind!

39' Van Dijk sends Berghuis through with a wonderful pass over the top before Berghuis wastefully lobs it well over the bar. However, his blushes are spared by the offside flag.

Then, the visitors regain possession and work a cut-back towards Valarino who smashes over from 12 yards, before the flag goes up for offside.

18' VAR awards a penalty to the Netherlands! De Vrij rises highest from a corner and sees his header blocked by Torrilla. The home players immediately appeal for a penalty but the referee waves away the claims. After a check with VAR though, it becomes clear that Torrilla handled the ball with his arms raised unnaturally upwards and a penalty is given!
16' CHANCE! Depay sends Lang through on goal with a delightful scooped pass over the top of the defence. Lang approaches Banda from a tight angle though, and eventually sends his shot well wide of the far post!
15' Depay's next corner falls to Van Dijk 12 yards out, but Bosio charges his shot down.
