Commentary

That's all for now though, goodbye!
It was unconvincing, but Ireland will take the positive out of this win into their Nations League campaign in June.
Parrott's late goal gives Ireland victory over Lithuania. This was a flat game where Ireland struggled to find any rhythm. Despite enjoying an overwhelming amount of possession and set-pieces, the hosts found it difficult to create chances. Four goals were disallowed throughout the game for offside, though, and it looked like this one was going to fizzle out into a draw. But Parrott's brilliant late strike sent the Ireland fans home happy and gave them a narrow win.

It's 0-0 after a quiet first half. Ireland have dominated throughout, but they've struggled to translate their possession and territory into clear cut chances. Ogbene has been their brightest player in attack, but overall, Lithuania have defended with real organisation and discipline.
