Final Tournament

That's all for now though, goodbye!
The result means that Germany raise their goal difference further at the top of the group, while Liechtenstein remain adrift in last place.
Germany record an emphatic 9-0 victory over Liechtenstein. This one was over as a contest within 10 minutes: Hofer caught Goretzka with a high-foot inside the box, and the referee awarded a penalty and a red card. Gundogan got the game rolling when he netted from the spot moments later. Germany then took the game away from Liechtenstein in one flurry. Three goals in three minutes - an own goal from Kaufmann, plus Sane and Reus strikes - ensured that it was 4-0 at half-time. And it got worse for the visitors in the second 45. Sane, Baku, a Goppel own goal and two Muller efforts added the gloss to a fine performance, as it ended 9-0.
90' + 2' FULL TIME: Germany 9-0 Liechtenstein
90' + 1' Two minutes of stoppage time are added on.
M. Göppel
Own Goal
89' Another own goal! 9-0! Baku drills in a vicious low cross and it flicks agonisingly off Goppel, before looping over Buchel and nestling into the far corner!
88' Brilliant save! Baku gets clean through on goal, but Buchel manages to push away his strike at full stretch! The rebound falls to Muller, who has a follow-up effort cleared off the line!
T. Müller
86' Muller scores again! 8-0! Reus gets in behind the Liechtenstein defence again and prods a low shot that Buchel blocks away. It falls to Muller though, and the striker fires it into the roof of the net, through a crowd of bodies!
85' Rudiger lets fly from 25 yards but his shot screws well wide.
M. Büchel
A. Sele
84' Sele also makes way with Martin Buchel coming on.
D. Brändle
S. Wolfinger
83' Wolfinger makes way for Brandle.
82' Kauffman charges down Neuhaus' thunderous 20-yard volley.
M. Reus
80' It was a simple pass from Reus into Baku and surely even he didn't expect what was to follow!
R. Baku
80' Brilliant strike from Baku! 7-0! Reus rolls a pass to Baku on the edge of the box. Baku cuts inside and creates a little space to shoot, before bending a wonderful effort into the far corner! Buchel stood no chance.
78' Nmecha heads narrowly over from close range, only to see the flag go up for offside.
F. Neuhaus
76' Neuhaus reacted to Sele's clearance first and although he was attempting to score, his header fell perfectly for Muller to finish the job!
T. Müller
76' Muller gets his goal! 6-0! Ginter heads a powerful effort towards goal from a corner, only for Sele to clear it off the line! The ball falls to Neuhaus who nudges it across goal, where Muller is poised to nod it in on the line!
74' Meier wriggles past Rudiger before attempting an audacious 25-yard chip that bounces straight to Neuer.
M. Ginter
T. Kehrer
72' Kehrer is replaced by Ginter in defence.
71' Muller's been extremely selfless as Germany's focal point today. The striker has only taken one shot, but he has created four chances.
L. Meier
F. Wolfinger
69' Wolfinger, who came on as a substitute himself, also makes way with Meier coming on.
R. Grünenfelder
D. Salanović
69' Liechtenstein make two changes now. The first sees Salanovic depart with Grunenfelder replacing him.
68' Germany appeal for a penalty as Neuhaus crashes into Malin inside the box, but the referee waves play on.
66' There's no drop in intensity from Germany's subs as Arnold immediately throws himself into a heavy tackle.
K. Volland
L. Sané
64' Sane also comes off with Volland taking his place.
M. Arnold
İ. Gündoğan
64' Two more changes for the hosts. The first sees Gundogan make way for Arnold in midfield.
63' Baku finds space to shoot from 20 yards, but he can only screw his effort comfortably wide.
62' Just wide! Baku connects with a crossfield pass and heads it back across goal. Reus nudges it on towards Neuhaus, who gets there before Buchel to poke it towards goal! However, his effort narrowly trickles wide of the far post.
60' Brilliant double-save! Gundogan slips Sane through on goal again, but this time Buchel blocks Sane's low shot. The attacker collects the rebound and lashes it towards goal from close range, but Buchel is there again to smother the second effort!
58' The second half has continued in a similar pattern to the first. Germany are creating chance after chance as Liechtenstein attempt to limit the damage.
56' Off the post! A flowing Germany move ends with Kaufmann poking a clearance out to Nmecha. The attacker takes a touch, before hammering a vicious 10-yard strike against the outside of the post and wide!
54' Baku gets into a dangerous position near the byline, but he can't quite control Neuhaus' pass and it runs behind.
51' Germany have had a mammoth 21 shots so far, with most of the second half left to go!
M. Reus
49' Reus picked out Sane with an accurate cross, but much of that goal owed to Muller's positioning. The attacker obscured Buchel's vision, meaning the goalkeeper couldn't get down to Sane's strike in time!
L. Sané
49' Sane makes it five! Liechtenstein struggle to clear their lines and eventually it breaks to Reus near the byline. The attacker cuts it back across goal where Sane is on hand to sweep it into the bottom corner from eight yards! Muller was obstructing Buchel's view, but as he was onside, the goal stands.
48' Rudiger slams into Buchel from a corner and the referee immediately awards a free-kick to the away side.
L. Nmecha
J. Hofmann
46' Hofmann also departs with Nmecha coming on.
F. Neuhaus
L. Goretzka
46' Germany make two changes during the interval: the first sees Goretzka make way for Neuhaus.
46' Liechtenstein get the second-half underway.
Liechtenstein were completely outplayed in that half and it's going to be extremely difficult to limit the damage in the second 45.
Three goals in three minutes lay the foundations for a dominant half for Germany. The game started in the worst possible fashion for the visitors: Hofer caught Goretzka with a high-foot inside the box, resulting in a red card and a penalty. Gundogan calmly slotted in the spot-kick to open the scoring. From there, the hosts were rampant. Gunter's cross forced an own goal from Kaufmann, before Sane slotted in when through on goal. And Reus made it three goals in three minutes when he tapped in following Hofmann's cross. The visitors managed to tighten up after that though and restrict Germany to four goals by half-time.
45' + 3' HALF TIME: Germany 4-0 Liechtenstein
45' + 1' Three minutes of stoppage time are added on.
44' Goretzka fires high and wide from 30 yards.
42' Gundogan hammers a vicious volley narrowly over from 20 yards. That would have been some goal if it was on target!
41' Liechtenstein manage their first shot as Sele's 35-yard effort trickles well wide.
39' Off the post! Muller fires in a low cross past Buchel, setting Gundogan up with an open goal. However, Gundogan misplaces his strike and it slices off the post and away!
A. Rüdiger
Yellow Card
38' Rudiger is shown a yellow card after smashing into Wolfinger.
37' Malin bravely dives in to hack Hofmann's dangerous low cross away at the near post.
35' Chance! Sane rises highest to meet Gunter's cross, but he can only awkwardly nudge his header wide of the far post!
33' Liechtenstein are camped on the edge of their own box as they look to avoid any further damage before half-time.
31' Baku robs Wolfinger and drives into the box, before cutting it back to Sane who can't quite control it.
F. Wolfinger
Y. Frick
29' Liechtenstein try and arrest their poor start with a substitution. Frick makes way for Wolfinger.
27' Almost five! Gundogan narrowly misses the target from inside the six-yard box as Germany continue to pile on the pressure.
25' It's been a rampant five minutes for Germany! They've scored three goals in three minutes and look like adding to their tally every time they go forward.
M. Reus
23' Reus makes it four! 4-0. Liechtenstein are falling apart. Hofmann chips in a deep cross and Sane forces Buchel into spilling the delivery! It falls kindly for Reus, who simply taps it into an empty net.
L. Goretzka
22' It was a crisp throughball from Goretzka, who sliced through the defence with one brilliant pass.
L. Sané
22' And Sane makes it three! 3-0. An intricate move from the hosts culminates with Goretzka slipping Sane clean through on goal and the attacker darts onto the ball before knocking it calmly past Buchel!
D. Kaufmann
Own Goal
20' OWN GOAL! 2-0! Germany double their lead. The hosts stretch Liechtenstein as Gunter finds himself in plenty of space down the left-wing. The defender drills in an inviting pass across the face of goal and Kaufmann can only turn it into his own net as he attempts to clear!
20' Gundogan hits the bar with a header, although Muller looked like he was offside in the build-up, ensuring that the goal wouldn't have counted.
19' Germany have had 86 per cent possession so far, and now that they're against 10 men it's a stat that isn't likely to decrease.
17' Chance! Baku forces Buchel into another fine stop, as he latches onto Sane's header before having his 18-yard half-volley pushed to safety.
15' Well, this has been the worst possible start for Liechtenstein. To have any chance they'd have needed to frustrate Germany from the beginning. But an early goal and being reduced to 10 men has left the visitors in disarray.
13' Save! Reus breaks free inside the box and hammers a shot at goal from a tight angle. Buchel is equal to the shot though and he pushes it behind for a corner that amounts to nothing.
İ. Gündoğan
Penalty Goal
11' GUNDOGAN! 1-0! Gundogan confidently steps up and sends Buchel the wrong way before rolling it low into the bottom right corner!
10' Goretzka looks dazed following the tackle, but he's able to walk off the pitch on his own and he should be able to continue.
J. Hofer
Red Card
9' Red card! Hofer's lunge caught Goretzka directly in the face, and after awarding the penalty, the referee has no choice but to send Hofer off.
9' Penalty to Germany! Goretzka gets to a loose ball inside the box just before Hofer, who catches the midfielder with a high foot. The referee shows no hesitation in pointing to the spot!
7' Buchel confidently darts off his line to punch Gunter's deep cross away from harm.
6' Gunter finds a little space to cross from the left flank, but his delivery wastefully sails away for a throw-in.
4' Germany already have Liechtenstein pinned in. The visitors are struggling to escape their own half as Germany knock it around patiently.
2' Goretzka floats a cross towards the back post, but there are no attackers in the vicinity and it sails away for a goal kick.
1' Germany get the first half underway.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!
Kimmich had to pull out of Germany’s squad prior to this game, having played in every one of Hansi Flick’s matches in charge so far. The hosts will be hoping that either Goretzka or Gundogan step up in his absence.
