GOAL highlights the top games involving Ghanaian players in Europe this weekend

With the major European football leagues headed for the homestretch, there will be a lot to play for when some Ghanaian players get into action this weekend.

From fighting for topflight survival, challenging for the title, to battling for a place in Europe's biggest inter-club competitions, there is certainly a lot of exciting action in store.

GOAL sheds light on the top games, involving Ghanaian players, to keep an eye on over the next two days.

    One point above the relegation zone ahead of the final round of games, Boateng and Hertha are set for probably the most important game of their season as a draw, at least, on Saturday at Dortmund will be enough to retain the club in the German Bundesliga for next season.

    A defeat could still see them survive, owing to their far superior goal difference to relegation-trapped Stuttgart, who sit three places below on the table.

    With two rounds of matches to go, a defeat for either side could ultimately lead to Rennes missing out on European football next season or Marseille missing out on Champions League football.
