Cameroon clash against Ethiopia in Yaounde on Thursday and they will be keen to build up on their opening 2021 Africa Cup of Nations win over Burkina Faso.

GOAL predicts how Indomitable Lions coach Toni Conceicao will line up his starting team.

  • Andre Onana - Cameroon

    GOALKEEPER - Andre Onana

The La Masia graduate is the best goalkeeper Cameroon have at the moment and is set to continue in goal.

  • Collins Fai

    RIGHT-BACK - Collins Fai

The Standard Liege defender has been a regular at the right side of defence since the last Afcon.

  • Nouhou Tolo - Cameroon

    LEFT-BACK - Nouhou Tolo

The US-based player is in line to make his 10th appearance for Cameroon.

Tolo has managed to replace Ambroise Oyongo at the left side of defence.

  • Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui Cameroon

    CENTRE-BACK - Michael Ngadeu

Coach Conceicao can always invest all his trust in Ngadeu.

The Genk man has been a regular under the Portuguese, starting all six games in their 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers as well as the Group A opener.

  • Jerome Onguene - Cameroon

    CETRE-BACK - Jerome Onguene

The former France youth international made his Afcon finals debut against Burkina Faso and will be out to prove to Conceicao again why he deserves to keep his place in the team.

  • Samuel Oum Gouet, Cameroon, November 2021

CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Samuel Oum Gouet

In Cameroon's last match, Oum Gouet did not do anything that demands the coach to change his midfield anchorman.

  • Ngamaleu

    RIGHT MIDFIELDER - Nicolas Ngamaleu

The Young Boys star would be eager to do more in terms of attack than how he did in the last game.

  • Karl Toko Ekambi Cameroon 2019

LEFT MIDFIELDER - Karl Toko Ekambi

Ekambi was not at his usual best against Burkina Faso and he goes into the Ethiopia match keen to prove that he is still key in this Cameroon squad.

  • Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa - Cameroon

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER - Andre Zambo Anguissa

The Napoli star has not been enjoying a good record in terms of goals and assists at his club and would want to banish that against Ethiopia.

  • Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting Cameroon 09012022

    CENTRE-FORWARD - Eric Choupo-Moting

The Bayern Munich forward came on as a second substitute against Burkina Faso and not much was seen from him as he was returning from injury.

But having now fully recovered, he could be influential if handed a starting spot.

  • Sammir Croatia Vincent Aboubakar Cameroon 2014 World Cup Group A 06192014

    CENTRE-FORWARD - Vincent Aboubakar

The hosts' captain had a bright start to the tournament, grabbing a brace against Burkina Faso.

Now he hopes to score from open play.
