Newcastle can confirm Champions League football on Monday if they beat Leicester, as they sit in third with 69 points, now four ahead of Liverpool. Brighton remain sixth with 58 points and will hope that neither Tottenham nor Aston Villa overtake them in their bid for a European spot.

A very dominant Newcastle showing for the majority of the match sees them one win away from Champions League football. They opened up the scoring thanks to an Undav own goal before Burn doubled their lead at half-time. Brighton delivered a remarkable tactical performance at the Emirates Stadium, securing a convincing victory over a an Arsenal side that will almost surely finish the league in second after mounting a serious title charge for the majority of the season. Currently sitting in sixth place, Brighton holds a one-point advantage over both Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, although the latter two teams have played two more matches. Brighton's visit to St James' Park follows their impressive scoring streak of 12 consecutive Premier League games at the Emirates. Notably, they rank second in terms of away goals, with 33 strikes, trailing only Arsenal's 35. However, it is worth noting that De Zerbi's team has managed to keep clean sheets in only three away matches throughout the season.

Newcastle's third-placed spot in the Premier League is not as secure as they'd like.
