Head coach Jose Riveiro has named Orlando Pirates' starting XI to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Black Label Cup final on Saturday.
Pirates saw off Kaizer Chiefs and advanced to the final after a 6-5 penalty shootout win at the FNB Stadium. The match had ended in a goalless draw at regulation time.
How Bucs line up against Sundowns:
Mpontshane was involved in the semi-final against Chiefs and has been maintained for the game against Masandawana.
The fullback was involved in the semi too and keeps his place at left-back.
Mthethwa played at the heart of defense and helped the Sea Robbers keep a clean sheet against their Soweto arch-rivals.
Alongside Mthethwa, Xoki was able to keep the Chiefs’ attackers at bay at the penultimate stage.
Motshwari has been trusted with a place deep in midfield as the MTN8 winners face the PSL defending champions.
Timm played alongside Motshwari in the middle of the pack and has been retained for the same roles against the Brazilians.
Dlamini wrestles back his position in the starting XI and will operate in the right wing.
Riveiro has given the Namibian a start and will take care of the left wing.
Makhubela, a product of the Pirates' youth structures, has been deployed as an attacking against the Pretoria-based side.
Pule was on the bench in the semi-final but will now enjoy a starting role.
Although he has struggled for goals in the PSL, a goal this evening will go a long way toward boosting his confidence.
