Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar has come under heavy criticism after he once again claimed he was just as good as Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
The ex-Porto and Besiktas player, who currently turns out for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, stated he would be as productive for the Premier League outfit as the Egypt international if given a chance to prove his worth.
“I'm not impressed by him. I can do what he does. I just don't have the opportunity to play in a big club. I understand people's attitudes, he's one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League," Aboubakar said.
"It makes sense that when you go on about a player like that, people will talk. But I did say that it was my opinion, my point of view. I don't give a toss if people don't like it.”
His comments have elicited debate on social media with a section of fans claiming the 30-year-old Aboubakar is just jealous of what Salah has achieved, while others said Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen is also better than him.
