That's all for now. Thanks for joining us!
The win means that City jump ahead of Arsenal to the top of the table. With three more goals, they now have a goal difference of +17, the most by far in the league. Wolves drop down to 16th place for now, and their fans will be hopeful that Costa can help add some much-needed attacking force to this side.
Manchester City got their first goal in less than a minute after De Bruyne played the ball into the centre for Grealish to poke home. Haaland scored City's second after being found in acres of space. Collins saw a straight red card after a reckless challenge on Grealish, which certainly did not help Wolves' attempt to get back into the game. Despite the home side looking brighter in the second half, City were just too good, and they scored a third through Foden.
90' The referee adds an extra three minutes to the clock.
89' Palmer plays a ball into the box, but it isn't the best cross in. Haaland asks him to play it sooner next time.
88' No surprise that the game has undoubtedly slowed down since the third goal.
C. Campbell
Pedro Neto
Wolverhampton Wanderers
86' Neto comes off for Campbell
85' After assisting twice today, De Bruyne has been directly involved in 150 Premier League goals (58 goals, 92 assists) in just 217 appearances in the competition.
84' Haaland gets the ball from Alvarez, but Neves, who has been forced to slot in at centre-back, defends it well and the ball goes out for a goal-kick.
82' Wolves get a corner, but it is finger-tipped away by Ederson.
Nélson Semedo
R. Aït Nouri
Wolverhampton Wanderers
81' Semedo comes on to replace Ait Nouri, who looked bright for Wolves in the second half.
Sergio Gómez
Manchester City
81' Rodri makes way for Gomez.
C. Palmer
J. Grealish
Manchester City
77' City's first goalscorer, Grealish, makes way for youngster Palmer.
75' Mahrez almost scores a fourth but Sa reacts quickly and gathers the ball off his line.
İ. Gündoğan
K. De Bruyne
Manchester City
72' De Bruyne's work is done as Gundogan comes on.
R. Mahrez
P. Foden
Manchester City
72' Minutes after scoring, Foden comes off for Mahrez.
J. Álvarez
Bernardo Silva
Manchester City
71' Guardiola also opts to make some changes with Alvarez coming on for Silva.
B. Traoré
Daniel Podence
Wolverhampton Wanderers
70' Podence makes way for Traore.
Hwang Hee-Chan
Gonçalo Guedes
Wolverhampton Wanderers
70' Wolves start to make changes with Guedes coming on for Hwang.
K. De Bruyne
Manchester City
69' De Bruyne with his second assist of the match as he sets up another one of his team-mates with a low cross into the box.
P. Foden
Manchester City
69' IT'S ANOTHER! Wolves have been better this half, but it's Man City who score. Haaland receives the ball, and De Bruyne makes a similar overlapping run to the first goal. This time he sets up Foden who flicks the ball into the back of the net.
Rúben Neves
Yellow Card
Wolverhampton Wanderers
65' Neves gets a yellow for arguing with Taylor, as he feels that Wolves deserved a foul call in the build-up to an earlier chance.
Matheus Nunes
Yellow Card
Wolverhampton Wanderers
65' Nunes makes a sliding tackle on De Bruyne, who rolls over about four times, and Taylor promptly books the Wolves player.
60' GOOD CHANCE FOR WOLVES! Ait-Nouri makes a great run on the flank, and he cuts it back perfectly towards a wide-open Guedes in the box. The winger, unfortunately, seems to panic and mishits his shot. It's easily Wolves' best chance from open play.
58' Sa makes an awful pass that City almost capitalise on. That was extremely sloppy from the keeper.
55' Wolves are somehow looking better and more confident with 10 men on the pitch. Neto has especially looked lively as he tries to get his side back into it.
54' Cancelo crosses the ball in the box, but Foden seems disoriented and can't get on the end of the ball to score.
52' Wolves win a corner, and it is flicked on into the box by Podence, but no Wolves player is central enough to get on the end of it.
51' As a reminder, Wolves haven’t scored in the second half in any of their last seven Premier League games – it’s their longest such run in the competition, while the last team to have a longer streak were Southampton between October and December last season (8).
48' The camera flashes towards new signing Diego Costa, whose goals will be much needed in this lackluster Wolves team.
47' Wolves go on the attack and are in the box, but Taylor blows his whistle for a foul on Grealish by Jonny. The home fans are certainly not happy with that decision.
46' Lage has opted to not make any changes going into this half.
46' And the second half is underway here at the Molineux.
Lage needs to regroup now and see if his side will benefit from any substitutions. The goal now will likely be to keep the score down and not concede any other goals. Man City will come out even more ruthless, and they will find it hard to let-up against a 10-man Wolves. They are now top of the table ahead of Arsenal.
It took Manchester City 55 seconds to get on the scoresheet through Grealish, and from that moment, the visitors were all over the home side. Haaland doubled the lead a quarter of an hour later to score his 14th goal of the season. It went from bad to worse for Wolves as a reckless and unnecessary challenge from Collins saw him get a straight red card.
45' + 2' The game has taken a bit of a lull since the sending-off. A good time for a break for both teams (mainly Wolves) to regroup.
45' There will be three minutes of added time for this half.
43' Grealish, who is facing loud boos from the home crowd, lays it off for De Bruyne, who decides to take the shot from distance, but it is deflected and goes out for a corner.
40' For the time being, Neves is playing at centre-back alongside Kilman. Wolves will likely wait until half-time to make a substitution.
35' Grealish was down and getting treatment, but he is now back up. You can see the red mark on his hip from the challenge quite clearly. Collins half-heartedly tried to argue the decision, but he went down the tunnel looking ashamed and bashful.
N. Collins
Red Card
Wolverhampton Wanderers
33' IT'S A STRAIGHT RED CARD FOR NATHAN COLLINS! It's a flying kick on Grealish, and it's WAY too high! That is not a good challenge at all as he catches the City player on his thigh and stomach. He has not done his team any favours at all. It is especially reckless since it is at the touchline and nowhere near goal.
29' Haaland is now the first player in Premier League history to score in each of his first four away games in the competition.
25' Wolves get another free-kick in an ideal area, but it sails over the bar. The home side really need to take advantage of the set-piece chances they have.
23' Guedes makes a great run in behind and he gets the ball to Neto. He's on his weaker side, but he takes the shot which beats Ederson and is just inches wide.
22' Neto gets into the box, and he goes down after trying to take on Akanji. He wants a penalty but it's quite soft, and it is City who get the free-kick as Neto handled the ball after he fell but before the whistle was blown.
Bernardo Silva
Manchester City
16' It was Silva who was able to get the ball to Haaland, who only had three touches before his goal.
E. Haaland
Manchester City
16' GOAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!! Wolves 0-2 Man City! Who else but Erling Haaland? Wolves lose the ball again, and City take advantage of the gaps. Haaland receives the ball and runs at Max Kilman, who he turns inside-out with ease. The striker then fires his shot past Sa, scoring his 14th goal of the season.
14' Wolves' free-kick goes straight into the wall.
Yellow Card
Manchester City
13' Diaz seems to be distracted, and Rodri has to react as Wolves get the ball, pulling back Nunes by the shirt. It's right in front of Anthony Taylor, and Wolves get a free-kick right outside of the box.
11' Wolves have a good spell of possession around the box but Neto's' concentration lapses for a moment and he loses the ball.
6' City have the ball in the back of the net again, but it is quickly chalked off as Rodri, who had scored, fouled Sa who had both hands on the ball.
5' Wolves want to get one back as Guedes shoots from a tight angle, but Ederson makes the save.
3' Wolves win a corner in response, but it's cleared very quickly.
1' The referee blows his whistle, and we are under way!
K. De Bruyne
Manchester City
1' De Bruyne is constantly on the move. He's the one who initially passed the ball to Foden, and he immediately runs behind Foden to get it back. He bypasses Ait-Nouri so easily and his cross was perfect as both Grealish and Haaland were ready in the box to pounce.
J. Grealish
Manchester City
1' GOAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!!! IT HAS NOT EVEN BEEN 60 SECONDS YET, BUT MAN CITY HAVE SCORED. De Bruyne makes an overlapping run behind Foden, and he crosses it into the box for Jack Grealish to nick it away for his first goal of the season. Wolves 0-1 Man City.
The teams are led out by their managers, and a minute of silence will be observed before the National Anthem is played in memory of the Queen.
Having only conceded four goals this season, Wolves have the best defensive record in the league so far.
Three of Wolves’ four Premier League victories over Manchester City have come in home games, beating them at Molineux in 2003-04, 2010-11, and 2019-20.
For Wolves, both Costa and Raul Jiminez are also unavailable, meaning that it’s Podence leading the line for the home side. Despite the injuries up top, Hwang Hee-chan, who was predicted to start, only makes the bench. For City, Aymeric Laporte is still not ready to play, which means Guardiola has opted for John Stones at right-back.
SUBS: Kyle Walker, Nathan Ake, Ilkay Gundogan, Stefan Ortega, Julian Alvarez, Sergio Gomez, Riyad Mahrez, Scott Carson, Cole Palmer.
MAN CITY (4-3-3): Ederson; John Stones, Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, Joao Cancelo; Keven De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo Silva; Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish.

The top spot in the Premier League table is up for grabs for Man City today as they take on Wolves, who are currently in 15th, who have only won one match in the league so far this season. The home side have been quite unlucky as their new marquee signing, Sasa Kalajdzic, has suffered an ACL injury. He will be out for some significant time. In the meantime, Bruno Lage has turned to former Premier League winner Diego Costa to find some goals in his struggling side, though the manager has said he’ll still need time to get fit enough for the league. Pep Guardiola’s side, on the other hand, are flying high, as City currently have an unbeaten run in all competitions that now stands at eight games. It has been over a year since they have lost to Spurs away, winning 15 and drawing six since.
