A point keeps Fulham within touching distance of the European places while Everton stay in the bottom half of the table. Fulham travel to Manchester City for their next league game while Everton host Leicester.
The first half was fought evenly between the two sides. Fulham’s best chance fell to Willian as his shot on the swivel was saved brilliantly by Pickford. Calvert-Lewin came closest at the other end as he failed to hit the target from Gray’s powerful cross from close range. Pereira made five key passes in the half as he was the most creative player on the pitch. The second half was dominated by Fulham but they failed to beat Pickford in goal. Mitrovic ended with a total of 10 attempts in the game but he could not break the deadlock for his side as both teams leave Craven Cottage with a point.

Fulham did well to get into the final third but often missed the finishing touch to take the lead, something Mitrovic will no doubt find if the chances keep coming. Everton will need to give the ball to Iwobi and Gray quicker and more often if they are to dominate this next half as they have been the best options going forward for the Toffees.

Frank Lampard’s Everton ended their losing streak in emphatic fashion last weekend as they beat Crystal Palace 3-0. Alex Iwobi picked up two assists in the win taking his total up to five for the season, only Kevin De Bruyne has more. A win today could propel the Toffees into the top half of the table if results elsewhere also go their way.
Fulham are on good form at the moment, coming into this fixture unbeaten in their last three games and scoring eight goals in that time. Aleksander Mitrovic is the third top scorer in the league with nine goals while Andreas Pereira is fourth on the list for assists this season with four.
