Real Madrid's lead over Villarreal has left them 45 minutes away from clinching the LaLiga crown. Barca at least need to provide pressure by getting back into the contest in the second half. It cannot just be Messi leading the fight as others must take responsibility.
Jose Arnaiz's strike has handed Osasuna a 1-0 lead over Barcelona at the break in their LaLiga clash. The visitors broke swiftly down the left, allowing Pervis Estupinan to send a cross into the box that was converted by Arnaiz. Osasuna have also made four changes to their team to take on Barcelona this evening. Arnaiz gets the call to lead the line alongside Adrian in the final third. Nacho, Raul Navas and Moncayola all come back into the fold to start from the team that beat Celta Vigo.
Barcelona have made four changes to their side that beat Real Valladolid last time out. Fati returns from suspension to start in the final third, while Braithwaite also gets the nod to play alongside Messi. Osasuna have little to play for, sitting comfortably in mid-table ahead of the match tonight. Arrasate's men bounced back from a defeat to Real Betis with a 2-1 win over Celta Vigo last time out. They did go behind as Santi Mina put the visitors ahead, but Enric Gallego equalised. Jose Arnaiz secured the win with a stoppage-time strike. Osasuna can approach the contest with a laid-back attitude tonight.
Barcelona have to win this evening and hope that Real Madrid fail to beat Villarreal in their contest to keep the LaLiga title race alive. The Catalan club have won their last three matches to keep the pressure on their rivals, but even that run appears not enough to prevent the crown from travelling to Madrid. Quique Setien's men have not been at the peak of their powers since the restart, but they will need their best tonight.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the LaLiga clash between Barcelona and Osasuna at Camp Nou.
