Chelsea finally unveil Enzo Fernandez


Chelsea have officially announced the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a British record fee worth Β£106.8 million ($131m).

A late-night deal meant he wasn't unveiled Tuesday, but the Argentina midfielder had time to pose for pictures Wednesday.

Leao's lawyer insists attacker wants to stay at AC Milan


Rafael Leao has no desire to leave AC Milan anytime soon, according to his lawyer Ted Dimvula.

The representative was clear in a series of remarks to Fabrizio Romano, denying reports out of Italy that had linked Leao to a summer transfer to the Premier League.

"The player's priority has not changed: he wants to stay at AC Milan and continue to grow and progress in this institution and this city that he loves so much," he said.

According to CNN Portugal, Andre Almeida has terminated his contract with Benfica after over 10 years at the Portuguese side.

The versatile right-back signed in 2011 and has made over 300 appearances for the club.

Details surrounding Cancelo's loan to Bayern emerge


Bayern Munich did not have to pay Manchester City a loan fee to secure the services of Joao Cancelo, according to BILD.

The full-back made a surprising switch to the Bundesliga giants before the transfer window came to a close, with Bayern having an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

Kazuyoshi Miura, the footballer who turns 56 in February, has signed for Portuguese second-tier outfit Oliveirense, on loan from Yokohama FC, it has been confirmed by the BBC.

The legendary Japanese forward is the oldest professional footballer in the world and has played the game in five separate decades, having started out at Santos in 1986.

Kyle Lafferty has left Kilmarnock via mutual consent, it has been confirmed.

The 35-year-old only re-joined the club in January 2022.

Moises Caicedo has got back to training with Brighton after the Seagulls stalled his move to Arsenal.

The Ecuadorian tried to force his way out of the club and missed sessions to put pressure on Brighton management. He was even kept out of the matchday squad against Liverpool in the FA Cup.

The Gunners were prepared to pay Β£70m for the player but Brighton CEO Paul Barber stuck to his demand of Β£100m or nothing.

Everton continue to push for Ayew


Everton have not given up on Andre Ayew and the forward is expected to join the Toffees within the next 24 hours as he looks set to leave Al-Saad following a Β£2.5million golden handshake, according to Daily Mail.

Ayew has scored four goals in his last five games for the Qatari champions and arrives in England in good form.

Hakim Ziyech will continue with Chelsea after the Professional Football League (LFP)’s legal committee decided against approving the loan to PSG.

The committee met on Wednesday morning to deliberate on the matter and decided against the move. Ziyech had already arrived in Paris on Tuesday to complete the move but will now return to London.

Manchester City "really like" Bukayo Saka of Arsenal and have "monitored" him for the long term, according to Ben Jacobs.

Saudi contact Madrid duo and Ramos over potential switch


Real Madrid legends Luka Modrić and Karim Benzema along with PSG's Sergio Ramos have been contacted by the Saudi Arabia government for a potential switch to the Gulf country, according to El Mundo.

Since they have been approached by the government the players will be free to choose the club, as mentioned in the report. They have been offered a two-year contract with an average of €30m per season.

Haaland has the 'key' to Man City exit


Rafaela Pimenta, Erling Haaland's agent and heiress to former super agent Mino Raiola, has confirmed that the forward has the 'key' to Manchester City exit if he wants to.

"I am in favor of freedom. It is my battle. I always say that one of my priorities as an agent is to offer the player what I call 'the key to the door'. When the player goes to a club, I do everything to create the conditions so that the key to the door is in his hands," she told in an interview with AS.

On being pressed whether Haaland has it in his Man City contract, she replied, "I will answer in general. I have done all the contracts for this agency in the last 25 years. Everybody. There wasn't a single time a player said β€œI want to go” and he couldn't do it."

Bayern Munich rejected Inter Milan's advances for defender Benjamin Pavard in the last few hours of the transfer window, according to L'Equipe.

The Serie A outfit views him as a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who will join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent in the summer. Pavard's contract with Bayern also expires in June but the Bavarian outfit decided to stall the move for now.
