UEFA Conference League Qualifiers

That's all for today, goodbye!
Roma and Mourinho will be very disappointed in how they dropped two points after taking the lead so late on. Milan remain in fourth thanks to that late goal from Saelemaekers, in what was a difficult game at Stadio Olimpico. Roma travel to Monza for their next match while Milan host Cremonese.
It was a fairly quiet first half from both Roma and Milan as neither side managed to register a shot on target. Pellegrini had the best chance of the first period after Spinazzola cut the ball back to the midfielder in the box, but his effort was blocked by team-mate Abraham in the six-yard box. Milan struggled to work the ball into dangerous positions as the home side defended in an organised manner. Tomori had a half-chance toward the end of the half, but it remained goalless at the break. The second period was following the same pattern before the match exploded into life in injury time. Abraham thought he scored the winner in the 93rd minute after he fired the ball past Maignan, but Leao assisted Saelemaeker with a wonderful cross four minutes later for Milan to equalise. Both shots on target in the game went in as the match ended 1-1.
90' + 10' FULL TIME: ROMA 1-1 MILAN
O. Solbakken
T. Abraham
90' + 8' Solbakken replaces Abraham in the Roma attack.
Rafael Leão
90' + 7' Leao is given far too much time and space on the left wing to pick out a cross, and he takes advantage of it as he finds Saelemaekers at the far post to score a very late equaliser.
A. Saelemaekers
90' + 7' GOALLL!!! 1-1 MILAN!!! SAELEMAEKERS!!! Milan have found an equaliser in the dying seconds of the game as Saelemaekers scores at the back post! Leao sends in a brilliant cross to the far post and Saelemaekers gets on the end of it, with Patricio making a poor attempt to save the effort. What a finish to this game!

90' + 4' Celik picks up the ball after Mancini dispossesses De Ketelaere. He then drives down the right wing and proceeds to pass to Abraham at the right time for the striker to take a touch and score.
T. Abraham
90' + 4' GOALLLL!!!! 1-0 ROMA!!!! ABRAHAM!!! Abraham scores with the first shot on target in the match! Celik goes on a lung-busting run down the right flank before passing to Abraham in the box. The striker takes a touch before firing the ball into the bottom left corner.

B. Cristante
Yellow Card
83' Cristante receives a yellow card after he tactically fouls De Ketelaere to stop a dangerous counter-attack.
81' Giroud is aggressively appealing for a penalty after Mancini pulls him to the ground in the box, but the referee is not interested in the call.
79' The match is becoming slightly more open in the midfield as both sides commit more players forward while also growing in fatigue.
77' Bove says he wants to continue as he makes his way back onto the pitch for Roma.
76' Bove is in some pain after the challenge from Krunic. Roma are preparing a change.

67' Both sets of fans are increasing the volume in the stadium to try and encourage their respective teams to attack more, but the tempo is still very slow in this game.
65' Abraham bursts down the right wing on the counter-attack and breaks into the box. He tries to pass the ball to Pellegrini on the far side, but El Shaarawy takes the ball instead, much to the frustration of the striker. Pellegrini's eventual strike is blocked with ease.

60' Abraham and Kjaer are back on their feet as play resumes.
59' Both Abraham and Kjaer are receiving help from the physios after a collision on the edge of the box.
58' Bennacer takes an out-swinging corner for Milan, but it leads to nothing for the visitors. They are really struggling to create a clear-cut chance.
A. Saelemaekers
Brahim Díaz
56' Saelemaekers replaces Diaz on the right side of the Milan attack.
54' Milan have won their last two away league games against Roma and have not managed three consecutive away wins against the Giallorossi since 1990 (run of four).
52' Mancini does well to turn the ball behind for a corner after Giroud looked to get on the end of a cross from Bennacer. The Milan midfielder takes the set-piece, but Pellegrini heads the cross away.
50' Both sides are still struggling to break the other down. The slow tempo of the match is making it easier for whichever side is defending at the time.
48' Maignan does well to catch the ball ahead of Abraham after Hernandez almost headed the ball in the path of the striker.
46' El Shaarawy gets the second half underway for Roma!
S. El Shaarawy

M. Thiaw
F. Tomori
46' Thiaw replaces Tomori at half-time after the defender picked up a leg injury in the first half.
A draw would keep Milan above Roma in the Serie A table, but it would be a bad result for either side. Roma would certainly want to make use of their home advantage today and take all three points.

45' + 2' Spinazzola lobs the ball to Pellegrini on the edge of the box. The Roma captain shoots first-time on the volley, however he fails to connect cleanly with his strike as the Milan defenders clear their lines.
45' There will be a minimum of five additional minutes.
44' Calabria tries his luck with a half-volley, but he slices the ball wide of the left post. Milan are finding it difficult to create a lot of chances.
42' Milan are struggling to keep the ball in the final third of the pitch, often passing the ball too quick for their own good. Roma are very organised defensively.
40' Roma are attacking with more numbers now as they look to end the half strong. Neither side will want to concede before the break.
38' Despite Thiaw being ready to replace Tomori on the touchline, the England international comes back onto the pitch for Milan.

34' CHANCE! Pellegrini has a great chance to break the deadlock, but his shot is blocked by Abraham! Spinazzola drives down the byline before cutting the ball back to Pellegrini. The midfielder tries to score at the near post, but Abraham accidentally jumps in the way. That was a big let-off for Milan.
32' Leao takes on two defenders before passing to Giroud, but the striker is smothered by Roma defenders and loses the ball. Milan are trying new ways to break the hosts down.

23' Pellegrini plays a lofted pass toward Belotti, but Tomori is comfortable enough to let the ball go through to Maignan.

9' Diaz tries to catch out the Roma defence and play Bennacer through on goal, but his pass is overhit and Patricio collects the ball.
7' When Roma win the ball, they are looking to play very direct and find Abraham with an early pass. The striker is doing well to run into the channels and hold the ball up for his team.
5' The tempo of this match is quite slow at the moment as Milan patiently wait for an opening in the Roma defence. The hosts look comfortable when defending for now.
3' Milan are controlling possession in the early stages of this game. Roma are carrying out a very relaxed press.
1' Milan get the game underway at Stadio Olimpico!
The players are making their way out of the tunnel and onto the pitch!
In 2023, Roma have kept seven clean sheets in eight home league matches - in the same period, no team of the big five European leagues have achieved so many clean sheets at home.
Mourinho makes four changes as Kumbulla, Matic, Spinazzola, and Belotti all start. Pioli also makes four changes to his Milan side as Calabria, Kjaer, Bennacer, and Giroud enter the starting 11.

Milan are high on confidence at the moment as they are unbeaten in six games in all competitions and have qualified for the last four of the Champions League. Although Stefano Pioli’s title defence has not gone to plan, if they could finish in the top four and beat rivals Inter in the semi-final, it would be considered a good season. Milan’s away record has not been fantastic this year, winning just 23 points from 16 games on the road.
Roma are in fifth place heading into this game and behind today’s opponents on goals scored in the league. Jose Mourinho’s side are looking to get back into the Champions League as six sides fight for the final three spots. They were on a three-game winning run until Atalanta beat them 3-1 last week, causing Roma to drop out of the top four.
Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the Serie A clash between Roma and Milan.
