Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
Manchester City still lead Group G with 10 points while Copenhagen move into third, overtaking Sevilla. The Danish side will face Brondby on the weekend, with their next Champions League fixture coming on the 25th of October against Sevilla. Manchester City travel to Dortmund on the same day but will be facing Liverpool in the Premier League this Sunday.
The first half was dictated by VAR with three big decisions made in the first 30 minutes of action. Rodri thought he put City ahead after he scored an audacious half-volley from outside the box, but VAR showed that Mahrez handled the ball in the build-up. Referee Arthur Soares Dias then made his way to the monitor again as Boilesen was penalised for a handball in the box. Mahrez stepped up to take the penalty but Grabara saved low to his left to stop the effort. Gomez was then sent off for a last-man challenge following a check by Dias again at the monitor in the 30th minute. The second half was very quiet from both sides as Man City struggled with Alvarez very isolated in attack and Copenhagen, although being the better side, lacked the killer instinct needed to try and win the game.
