Trossard is expected to leave Brighton in the near future but Spurs' bid was considered too low for the Seagulls.

Portugal defender Pepe is expected to sign a new contract with Porto.

Maisfutebol reports the veteran will commit to a new deal that runs until 2025 and see him play with the club until the age of 42.

The news was confirmed on the club's official website. Graham Hansen signed in 2019, and was named the Primeria Division's MVP in 2020-21.

Borussia Dortmund winger signs for Hellas Verona


Borussia Dortmund winger Jayden Braaf has signed for Serie A side Hellas Verona, the Italian club has confirmed.

Braaf joins on a loan until the end of the season, with Verona having the option to make the deal permanent.

The 20-year-old has already had a brief taste of Italy's top-flight from a spell on loan at Udinese in 2021.

Arsenal have identified West Ham captain Declan Rice as their top target for the summer transfer window, according to The Times.

The report states that the Gunners are confident they can beat Chelsea to Rice's signature, with the midfielder set to be the centre of a bidding war which could also include Manchester United.

His current West Ham deal expires in 2024, but has an option to extend for another year.

Talks break down for proposed Barcelona-Inter swap deal


Memphis Depay will not be joining Inter, nor will Joaquin Correa be heading in the opposite direction to sign for Barcelona, as talks for a potential deal involving the pair have failed to materialise.

That's according to Spanish outlet Relevo, who report that Correa was never involved in discussions over a potential swap deal, while Depay's salary would prove problematic for the Nerazzurri, despite them holding a long-standing interest in the Dutchman.

Al Nassr negotiating with PSG outcast as Ospina replacement


Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr have opened talks to sign Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain following an injury to regular first choice goalkeeper David Ospina, according to Marca.

The former Real Madrid stopper has fallen out of favour at the Parc des Princes, and the report states negotiations could even be wrapped up with week with Navas and PSG in Riyadh for a friendly.

Navas was teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo in Madrid, with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner now leading the line at the Saudi outfit.

Newcastle United are ready to sign Memphis Depay on loan from Barcelona in the January transfer window according to Football Insider.

The Magpies will face competition from PSV Eindhoven who want a replacement of Cody Gakpo who left for Liverpool earlier in January. Barcelona are yet to make a decision on Depay's future but could let him leave on loan.

Man Utd keen on signing Inter defender


Manchester United have held talks to sign Inter full-back Denzel Dumfries according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Serie A side would be willing to let him leave if they receive a fee of around €40m. Chelsea are also interested in the Dutch right-back.

Brighton are set to let Leandro Trossard leave for a transfer fee of around £25million in January according to  talkSPORT.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both keen on signing the player and could battle it out for the Belgian in the transfer market.

Saliba confirms Arsenal in touch with his agent


Arsenal defender William Saliba confirms that the club have been in touch with his agent and himself over a possible contract extension.

The French international told Evening Standard, "I am so happy here. The club is speaking with my agent and me, the only thing I can do is [focus on my football]. I am so happy here."

Since losing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to rivals Chelsea, Arsenal have ramped up their interest in Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic, according to Calciomercatoweb.

Chelsea to listen to Sterling offers


Chelsea are now willing to listen to offers for summer acquisition Raheem Sterling, according to information from Football Insider.

The news comes after the Blues made an astonishing move to hijack Arsenal's deal for Ukrainian starlet Mykhaylo Mudryk, for whom the club paid £89m ($109m).

While Chelsea's forward recruits rack up - including the loan signing of Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix - Sterling has failed to impress in West London, amassing six goals and three assists in 22 appearances this season.
