Konyaspor president Mehmet Akcan has said the club are in talks with former Real Madrid playmaker Isco over a move.
Akcan told AS that talks with the free agent are going well and he's optimistic a deal can be reached.
“It is correct, we are in a process of negotiation with Isco,” he said.
“I can say it, the talks are going well. We are not yet sure if we have reached an agreement, otherwise we would say it openly. We are doing everything we can to close the deal.
“We have until the 8th of this month, but I think that everything will be resolved with Isco, in one way or another, as soon as possible. Now we have a chance to close the deal. We are positive.”

Pep explains Cancelo exit
Man City boss Pep Guardiola has explained why Joao Cancelo was allowed to leave the club and move to Bayern Munich.
"I wish him the very best. He has been an incredible figure in winning two Premier League titles. After the World Cup we have been playing in different patterns and I've given more time to other players," he said.
"Everyone has their own personality. He loves to play, he trains the best but he needs to play to be happy, so we decided together to let him go to Munich. He wants to play every game so hopefully that can happen in Munich."

Dyche defends Everton's inactivity in January transfer window
Sean Dyche has defended Everton's failure to get on board any new player in the January transfer window despite the team reeling in the relegation zone.
"One thing I can assure you since I've been appointed and since getting here Saturday is that all I've seen is hard work, particularly in the recruitment area. I've been leaving here late at night. The owner, the chairman and Kev [Kevin Thelwell, Everton's director of football] have been on the phone constantly. I can assure you of this - I was physically there seeing it all. There's absolutely been hard work.
"I think the thing that gets overviewed is that they've [new signings] got to be better than what we've got here. I think we've got some very, very good players. Caicedo's agent talks future
Moises Caicedo's agent has admitted he does not know what will happen in the future after seeing the midfielder denied a move away from Brighton in the January transfer window.
Manuel Sierra has told Marca90Ec, via Olé, that Caicedo did receive offers but that he is now concerned an injury could scupper any future chances of a big-money move.
"The offers were received, you see what is on the table and Moises says that he wants to go forward, that it is the dream of his whole life," he said. "That it is an opportunity that may not be repeated in life.
