Milan's victory lifts them back to the top of Serie A, two points ahead of Inter who have a game in hand. They had 25 shots to Lazio's seven here, so they were deserved victors even though the hosts worked extremely hard to keep the game level. Lazio will be disappointed, but they did their best and are still well in the fight for a top-six finish.
Milan have broken Lazio hearts by snatching a vital win right at the death! Lazio put in a brave performance, going ahead in the first half through Immobile before concentrating on fending Milan off. Despite Giroud's equaliser, it looked like the hosts would hold on for a draw, until Tonali popped up in injury time to give Milan all three points.

Lazio started the game at full pelt, taking the lead before settling into a more defensive mode as Milan gradually upped their gears. 2' Lazio are looking slick so far, aided by the rain coming down at the Stadio Olimpico. The hosts win a throw-in down their right.
1' Milan get this game underway!
Milan have already beaten Lazio twice this season, including 2-0 in the reverse league fixture. However, they've not managed to win both games against the Biancocelesti in the same league season since 2008/09. These are two of the four teams that have kept the most clean sheets in the second part of this Serie A season. This could be a tight and tense affair.
Milan also make just one change to the team that lost 3-0 to Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-finals. Diaz comes in for Saelemaekers.
There's one change to Lazio from their 1-1 draw with Torino. Radu replaces Marusic at left-back.
SUBS: Ante Rebic, Fode Ballo-Toure, Matteo Gabbia, Ciprian Tatarusanu, Antonio Mirante, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marko Lazetic, Alexis Saelemaekers, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Samu Castillejo, Alessio Romagnoli, Rade Krunic.
AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Mike Maignan; Davide Calabria (c), Pierre Kalulu Kyatengwa, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Sandro Tonali, Franck Kessie; Junior Messias, Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao; Olivier Giroud.
SUBS: Marius Adamonis, Luiz Felipe, Elseid Hysaj, Danilo Cataldi, Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Dimitrije Kamenovic, Adam Marusic, Luka Romero, Toma Basic, Jovane Cabral, Raul Moro, Pepe Reina.
LAZIO (4-3-3): Thomas Strakosha; Manuel Lazzari, Patric, Francesco Acerbi, Stefan Radu; Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto; Felipe Anderson, Ciro Immobile, Mattia Zaccagni.
Meanwhile, Milan have picked up six consecutive clean sheets in Serie A and need another victory to overtake title rivals Inter at the top of the table. Stefano Pioli's team have picked up 71 points in 33 games this season, their best return since 2010/11 when they won their last scudetto. This therefore looks like a top-six clash which could have great consequences.
Lazio's 1-1 draw with Torino last time out may have slowed their top-six charge, but Mauricio Sarri's men are still well on track to finish in Serie A's European places. While a Champions League place looks beyond the Romans, a Europa League finish is well within their grasp.
