Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
Both sides get their first point on the board, knowing that tough games are still to come against Bayern Munich and Manchester United. Their attentions now turn back to domestic duties, with Galatasaray facing Istanbul Basaksehir in the Super Lig, while Copenhagen travel to Brondby in the Superliga at the weekend.
Galatasaray scored twice late on to earn a 2-2 draw with 10-man Copenhagen. For 85 minutes, it was almost a perfect away performance for the Danish side. They weathered an early flurry of Galatasaray chances, where Akturkoglu wasted three great opportunities to put the hosts ahead before Elyounoussi opened the scoring with a wonderful volley. In the second half, Goncalves doubled their lead, but Jelert was then sent off in the 73rd minute for his second yellow card. It looked like the visitors might be able to hold on, but Boey pulled one back in the 86th minute and Tete equalised just under two minutes later to get what could be a vital point.
90' + 7' FULL-TIME: GALATASARAY 2-2 COPENHAGEN.
90' + 5' Angelino crashes into Ankersen and Galatasaray are awarded a free-kick on the left. It's a poor delivery from Oliveira though and Copenhagen get it away. The hosts are running out of time to get a winner here.
O. Højlund
M. Elyounoussi
90' + 3' Copenhagen's final change sees Hojlund come on for Elyounoussi.
90' + 1' The board goes up and there's going to be six added minutes here. It's greeted with another big roar from the home fans - they have their belief back.
90' The fans' spirits are back up now and they're urging their team upfield for a winner. Boey races down the right and wins a corner, but they can't do anything with it.
W. Zaha
Assist
88' Instead of checking back on himself, this time Zaha runs at his defender. He gets a yard on him and it's enough to play a perfect pass to Tete.
Tetê
Goal
88' TETE EQUALISES! Absolutely incredible! The substitute has looked dangerous since coming on, and he's got his reward! It's great play from Zaha down the left and he holds off Vavro to whip it back to the edge of the box. Tete hits it first time on the volley, and it bounces just in front of Grabara and into the near bottom corner. 2-2!
S. Boey
Goal
86' BOEY PULLS ONE BACK! The hosts look to Tete again, and he tries to squeeze it between two Copenhagen defenders when he cuts inside. A deflection off Diks helps it into Boey's path and he takes a touch before rifling a shot past Grabara into the back of the net. Can Galatasaray rescue something here? 2-1!
84' Tete finds himself in space down the right, but the cross lets him down again. He overhits it, missing everybody in the middle, and it harmlessly bounces out.
B. Meling
Yellow Card
82' Meling is the latest player to be penalised for time-wasting over a throw-in. He goes into the referee's book.
81' Still, the hosts push to try and pull a goal back here. It's played out to Tete on the right and he lifts a cross into the middle, but it's a Copenhagen player that gets on the end of it.
79' Galatasaray just don't have any answers at the moment. They're still seeing a lot of the ball, but it's all in front of Copenhagen, and the visitors are happy to let them keep it in that area.
Sérgio Oliveira
Yellow Card
77' Oliveira is the latest player to go into the book as he catches Diks with a late tackle.
V. Lund
E. Achouri
76' Achouri is also taken off, with Lund on in his place.
T. Ndombélé
V. Nelsson
76' Galatasaray's final roll of the dice sees Ndombele come on in place of Nelsson.
P. Ankersen
O. Óskarsson
75' Copenhagen are making another double change, and switching to a back five in response to the red card. Oskarsson, who only came on five minutes ago, goes off without getting a touch. Ankersen is on for him.
K. Diks
Yellow Card
73' Diks is quick to rush to his team-mate's defence to question the booking. The referee is having none of it though, and the defender is also booked for dissent.
73' JELERT IS SENT OFF! The referee initially played the advantage to Copenhagen, but now he goes back to book Jelert. The right-back slid in high and late on Torreira, taking out the midfielder, and it results in his second yellow card of the game. He goes off, and Copenhagen will finish the game with 10 men!
72' Yilmaz steps in to dispossess Lerager and sets Zaha on the counter. He gets it back from the winger but is rushed by two defenders before he can get a shot away.
O. Óskarsson
J. Larsson
70' And Oskarsson comes on for Larsson.
V. Claesson
Diogo Gonçalves
70' Copenhagen are making their first changes now. Goncalves, who scored the second goal, goes off for Claesson.
69' CHANCE! Torreira slides it through to Icardi, and he spins away from Vavro to open up a pocket of space on the edge of the D. He takes aim from there, but his shot sails over the bar.
68' It's better from Galatasaray here and Yilmaz drops deep before curling a dangerous cross into the box. He's looking for Zaha at the far post, but Falk cuts it out.
B. Yılmaz
H. Ziyech
66' And Ziyech makes way for Yilmaz.
W. Zaha
K. Aktürkoğlu
66' Galatasaray are making another double change as they look to turn things around. Akturkoglu is taken off and replaced by Zaha.
65' Galatasaray win a series of corners, but the delivery is letting them down at the moment. Copenhagen clear the first two before winning a free-kick when Vavro is fouled during the third.
63' The visitors push forward again and Jelert tries to put a long throw-in into the box. He doesn't get it right though, and Torreira gets it away.
61' Galatasaray look shaky on the ball now and they're struggling to get upfield. Icardi has barely been involved since the restart, and his team-mates can't get any service into him.
Tetê
D. Mertens
59' And Mertens, who has struggled to get involved as much since the break, is replaced by Tete.
Sérgio Oliveira
K. Demirbay
59' Galatasaray are making a double change in response to conceding a second goal. Demirbay is the first to go off, with Oliveira on for him.
B. Meling
Assist
58' None of the Galatasaray defenders pick up Meling's run, and it worried the keeper enough to rush out to him. He gets his head up, and makes the right choice by squaring it to Goncalves.
Diogo Gonçalves
Goal
58' GONCALVES SCORES! What was going on with Galatasaray's defence there? It's lifted over the top for Meling down the left, and Muslera rushes off his line to close him down. The keeper doesn't commit though, and the left-back pulls it back to Goncalves, who coolly slots it into the bottom corner from just inside the box. 2-0 Copenhagen!
56' CHANCE! Achouri holds off Boey long enough to get to the edge of the box before he tees up Goncalves for a shot. He puts his laces through it, but it's always rising and sails just over the bar.
54' Copenhagen are upping the pressure here, and Elyounoussi plays a one-two with Larsson as he cuts inside from the right. He tries to poke it to Achouri on the far side, but can't get it through the crowd.
E. Jelert
Yellow Card
52' Every time Jelert has gone over to take a throw-in, he's taken his time over it. The referee has had enough and books him for time-wasting.
50' Just like in the first half, Galatasaray are seeing a lot of the ball in the opening exchanges. Their play is more patient now though as they struggle to pass their way through Copenhagen.
48' Torreira gets an accidental knee to the back of his leg from Goncalves, and he stays down. The medical team come on to give him some treatment, but he'll be able to carry on.
46' Galatasaray get us back underway for the second half!
Neestrup's game plan couldn't have worked any better as they soaked up so much pressure from Galatasaray before taking the best chance that they created. Buruk won't be able to believe that his side aren't at least level at the break, and he'll be urging them for more of the same as they look to get back into this tie.
Copenhagen take a 1-0 lead over Galatasaray into the break. The goal came completely against the run of play, as Elyounoussi volleyed in a wonderful close-range shot to score with their first shot on target in the game. It could've been a much different story as Akturkoglu had three glorious chances - one was well saved by Grabara, while he hit the other wide and rattled the crossbar with the last. Mertens also came agonisingly close for the hosts.
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: GALATASARAY 0-1 COPENHAGEN.
45' + 2' SAVE! Achouri gets the better of Boey as he cuts inside and pulls it back to Lerager. He curls a first-time shot towards the near post before he can be closed down, but Muslera holds it.
45' The hosts are looking to make a strong finish to the first half as they keep Copenhagen penned back in their own half. They're struggling to get into the final third though.
43' Galatasaray look to Ziyech to make something happen from the right once more. He sends another long ball upfield, but gives Icardi no chance of getting there before Grabara.
41' The home fans aren't happy with the referee as they think he's not giving any decisions in their favour. Ziyech is holding his head after bumping into Meling, and the game is stopped, but only so the Moroccan can receive treatment.
H. Ziyech
Yellow Card
39' Ziyech sweeps Meling's legs out from under him, before making it clear he doesn't think Copenhagen should have got a free-kick. He's booked for dissent.
37' SO CLOSE! Galatasaray are upping the pressure as they look to get back on level terms. Torreira whips a wonderful cross in from the right, and Mertens gets between the two centre-backs to meet it. He glances a header on, but it bounces just wide.
L. Lerager
Assist
35' It's Lerager that rises highest to meet it in the crowd at the far post, and he nods it down to set up Elyounoussi.
M. Elyounoussi
Goal
35' ELYOUNOUSSI SCORES! Completely against the run of play, Copenhagen take the lead! Galatasaray are cut wide open at the back as Goncalves curls a cross in from the right of the box and Lerager nods it down at the far post. Elyounsoussi brings it down on his chest and fires a powerful volley on goal. Muslera gets a hand to it, but can't keep it out of the net. 1-0 Copenhagen!
34' Grabara is just looking to get the ball upfield, but Lerager brings it down and almost sets up a chance for Achouri. Muslera rushes off his line and holds onto it under pressure from the winger.
32' The hosts are enjoying a good spell of possession here, though it's all in front of Copenhagen. Galatasaray are staying patient as they try to get themselves upfield.
30' Galatasaray go for the more direct route once more, with Ziyech whipping it forward for Mertens. The Belgian gets close to it, but Diks gets there first to poke it out for a corner.
28' It's switched out to Ziyech on the right again, and he has bodies to aim for with his cross. He curls it well in front of Icardi though, and Grabara collects it.
26' Achouri is holding his ground against Nelsson, but he gets a nudge in the back from the defender. He goes down, dragging the ball to his chest thinking he's getting a free-kick, but it goes the other way.
24' OFF THE BAR! Achouri is bundled off the ball by Torreira and he touches it to Icardi, who helps it onto Akturkoglu in space on the edge of the box. He hits it first time, getting a lot of power on the shot, and Grabara is beaten, but it smacks the crossbar.
22' Ziyech sloppily gives the ball away again, and Achouri is quick to pounce on it. He skips away from Nelsson to square it to Elyounoussi, but Angelino quickly gets across to stop it from reaching him.
20' Achouri cuts inside from the left, playing a one-two with Lerager to get into a position to shoot. His effort is charged down by two Galatasaray defenders, and they can't make anything of the corner.
18' Ziyech tracks back to help his defenders but gifts his clearance straight to the visitors. Copenhagen switch it from left to right, but they're struggling to open up space in behind Galatasaray.
16' WHAT A CHANCE! Mertens makes another interception, knocking it out to Icardi on the left of the box. He's chased away from goal, so he pulls it back to Akturkoglu. He curls a shot towards the near post, but sends it wide.
15' The only previous meetings between Galatasaray and Copenhagen came in the 2013-14 Champions League, with the Turkish side winning 3-1 at home before losing 1-0 in Denmark.
13' Copenhagen sloppily give the ball away in the centre circle again, and Demirbay plays a lovely pass over the top for Icardi. He lets it bounce, waiting to take the shot before going down under pressure from Vavro. The referee says no penalty.
L. Lerager
Yellow Card
11' Lerager slides in late on Torreira, and the referee points out that he's already gotten away with one similar. He picks up an early yellow card.
9' Mertens is at the centre of another Galatasaray attack as he picks up the ball in the middle. He knocks it onto Akturkoglu, who cuts inside before flashing a shot wide of the far post.
7' GREAT SAVE! The visitors create more problems for themselves here as Mertens reacts quickly to beat Falk to the knockdown. He touches it through to Icardi, who is one-on-one with the keeper, but Grabara gets a strong hand behind the shot.
6' Copenhagen have struggled to get on the ball so far, but it's better here as Achouri drives down the right. He has Larsson in the middle to aim for, but his cross is too close to Muslera.
4' The hosts have made a really bright start here, and Meling can only clear the long ball as far as Mertens. He whips a wonderful cross into the middle, and Diks makes a vital interception in front of Icardi.
2' Galatasaray hook it long upfield and Icardi gets between the two defenders to bring it down. It bounces up against Vavro's arm, but the penalty appeals are waved away as the flag goes up.
1' Larsson gets the game underway for Copenhagen!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!

Jacob Neestrup makes two changes to the side that drew with Nordsjaelland last time out, with Lerager and Larsson coming in. Oskarsson and Bardghji start on the bench.
Okan Buruk makes just one change from their win over Samsunspor at the weekend. Ziyech makes his first start for the club as he's brought in. Tete drops to the bench, where Zaha is also named after missing that game through injury.
