However, Russo pounces on the rebound and flicks a backheel from a tight angle that nutmegs Lindahl on its way into the net. A moment of pure inspiration!

2' The result means that England reach their first Euros final since 2009. Sweden, meanwhile, fall in the semi-finals.
1' England reach the final of Euro 2022 after a dazzling performance against Sweden. The hosts started off anxiously as Sweden went close several times: Jakobsson forced two fine saves from Earps, before Blackstenius thumped a header against the bar. However, England eventually settled into the game and took the lead when Mead finished off Bronze's cross. Going into the interval it looked as though a tense second half awaited, but England blew their opponents away. Bronze headed in to make it 2-0, before Russo's sensational backheel made it three. And it got even better for England when Kirby chipped Lindahl to secure the win.
Sweden are still well and truly in this game though and you sense England will need a second goal today.
England take a narrow 1-0 lead into the break. Sweden flew out of the traps as Earps pulled off two fine saves to deny Jakobsson, before Blackstenius headed against the bar from a corner. However, England eventually settled and began to grow into the game. Mead narrowly missed with a header at the back post, before the attacker opened the scoring with a superb finish following Bronze's precise cross to give England the lead heading into half-time.
44' Mead sends in a cross from deep, but Lindahl gets there before White. Kirby picks off the goal kick and shoots from distance but it drifts wide of the far post.

5' It's been a frantic start, as both teams nervously look to stamp their authority on this semi-final.
3' SAVE! Stanway is barged off the ball and Sweden break away. Ilestedt slips Jakobsson in behind the England defence and she drills a fierce, low strike across the face of goal that Earps brilliantly blocks with her feet! That was an early warning for the hosts.
