Commentary

That's all for now though, goodbye!
The result means that Denmark move to three points, alongside Spain and Germany who play later today. Finland, meanwhile, are on the cusp of elimination at the bottom of the group.
Harder's goal secures a vital win for Denmark. Denmark largely controlled this game throughout: they dominated possession against an organised and determined Finland, who waited for their opportunities on the break. This created a tight first half with Nadim coming closest for Denmark. And a similar pattern followed after the break with Korpela denying Karen Holmgaard from close range. However, Denmark finally took the lead when Harder pounced to head home from close range. Finland scared them late on when Christensen made a superb save to deny Danielsson, but Denmark held on for a vital win.
90' + 5' FULL-TIME: DENMARK 1-0 FINLAND
90' + 3' SAVE! Christensen preserves Denmark's lead! Danielsson finds a little space 25 yards from goal and quickly lashes a fierce effort towards the top corner! However, Christensen acrobatically rises to tip it over the bar! A superb save at a vital moment.
90' + 1' Four minutes of stoppage time are added on as Finland continue to search for an equaliser.
J. Danielsson
A. Westerlund
90' Westerlund makes way for Danielsson as Finland throw some more height on for the final stages.
89' Finland are fighting hard for an equaliser, but time's not on their side.
S. Boye
P. Harder
87' Harder makes way as a precaution following that injury and Sorensen comes on.
87' Harder's down following a clash of heads and there'll be a delay as the Denmark attacker is treated.
85' Close! Sainio clips in a free-kick from deep for Finland and it reaches Kuikka who glances a 10-yard header narrowly wide of the far post!
83' Ahtinen drives forward but lacks support, and instead, she opts to hit a speculative 25-yard effort that sails well wide.
81' Denmark look more likely to get the next goal. They surge forward again as Thomsen drills in a low cross, only to find that there's no one on hand to apply a finish at the back post.
79' Finland will need to push up and change their game plan completely now if they're to recover in this game.
O. Ahtinen
L. Sällström
77' Finland make a change. Sallstrom makes way for Ahtinen.
74' Well, Denmark deserve their lead and Harder was always likely to be the source. The Chelsea attacker has given everything for Denmark today and she's been rewarded with a crucial opener!
P. Harder
Goal
72' GOALLL! HARDER! 1-0. Denmark finally take the lead. Thomsen whips a dangerous cross to the back post where Karen Holmgaard heads it against the underside of the bar from close range, but the rebound falls to Harder who gleefully nods it on the line!
69' SAVE! Harder embarks on a sensational run as she drives 40 yards up through the heart of the pitch, before drawing in three defenders! At the vital moment, Harder chips a pass to Karen Holmgaard to send her clean through on goal, only for Korpela to rush out and smother her shot!
67' Denmark are growing increasingly desperate. They've already made four changes and despite dominating the second half, they still can't find a way through.
R. Sevecke
Yellow Card
66' Sevecke is shown a yellow card after pulling Sainio back.
K. Holmgaard
S. Troelsgaard

S. Larsen
S. Bruun
64' Bruun also makes way with Larsen coming on.
62' MISS! An intricate Denmark move ends with Svava shimmying into the box, before laying it off to Junge! The midfielder has a clear shot at goal available from 10 yards, but she slices her effort well wide of the far corner!
60' Oling lets fly from 25 yards but Christensen plucks it confidently out of the air. That was the first save the Denmark goalkeeper has had to make today.
58' Thomsen looks to wriggle into the box but Oling's able to dispossess her. Denmark have completely controlled the game since the break, but they still can't find the breakthrough.
S. Svava
S. Thrige
56' Thrige also heads off with Svava taking her place.
S. Bredgaard
N. Nadim
56' Denmark make two changes to try and inject some more energy into the game. The first sees Nadim make way for Bredgaard in attack.
54' Koivisto tumbles theatrically under pressure from Pedersen inside the box. Finland appeal for a penalty, but the referee remains unmoved.
52' Nadim's had two clear chances so far today, but hasn't been able to make the right connection on either occasion.
50' Denmark have started this half with real intensity. Nadim and Thomsen send in successive crosses, but Finland anxiously clear both.
48' CHANCE! Harder beats Pikkujamsa superbly, before driving into the box. The attacker squares it to Nadim to give her a clear shot at goal, but Nadim scuffs her shot, allowing Westerlund to hammer it away!
46' Finland kick off the second half.
Finland are without a win in their last six Euros matches since beating Denmark and the Netherlands in successive 2009 group stage fixtures. Unless they show a little more intent going forward, this run could well continue.
It's level going into the break. This game quickly settled into a consistent pattern: Finland sat deep waiting for chances to counter, while Denmark patiently looked for openings. Denmark came close when Nadim forced Korpela into an excellent save from close range, while Koivisto narrowly missed the target for Finland from 10 yards. Aside from that, it's been a tight game and Denmark will need to find a spark of creativity to open this up after the interval.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: DENMARK 0-0 FINLAND
45' + 1' Thrige shimmies past Koivisto to get to the byline but Korpela races out to smother her cross! Korpela follows that up by punching away the corner - Finland's goalkeeper has enjoyed an excellent first half.
45' Two minutes of stoppage time are added on.
43' Harder drives down the right before whipping in a cross that Westerlund hooks away.
41' Thomsen jinks dangerously towards the byline, but she gets her cross wrong and it goes behind.
39' Almost! Finland sweep forward on the break as Sainio cuts it back to Koivisto inside the box! The defender takes a touch before drilling a low, 10-yard effort agonisingly wide of the far post!
37' Close! Thomsen drives into the box and rolls a dangerous pass across the face of goal, but Koivisto just gets there before Harder to clear it behind. The resulting corner is cleared away.
35' An intricate Denmark move ends with Bruun flicking it to Veje on the edge of the box and the defender hits a weak effort straight at Korpela.
33' Harder almost breaks onto Troelsgaard's throughball behind the Finland defence, but Westerlund gets across to just about shield it back to Korpela.
31' Harder wins a corner after an industrious run to the byline. Junge swings the set-piece in but Finland clear once more.
29' Troelsgaard unleashes Thrige with a superb pass down the right flank, but the wingback squanders the opportunity with a sliced cross that drifts behind.
27' Bruun finds space and approaches the edge of the box before firing well wide.
25' Finland have set up in a deep, organised shape: they're looking to sit in and hit Denmark on the break. They've had to absorb a lot of pressure, but they're beginning to find space on the counter now.
23' Finland have grown into the game in the last five minutes. This time, Sallstrom latches onto a dinked throughball before forcing a strong save - however, it wouldn't have counted anyway, the striker was offside.
21' Summanen robs Junge and leads a counter-attack that ends with the Finnish midfielder firing tamely wide from 20 yards.
19' Denmark continue to patiently probe around the box, but Finland are sitting deep and defending with determination right now.
17' Alanen hits an ambitious 25-yard volley well wide.
15' Pedersen is down after a clash of heads and she'll require treatment. However, the defender should be okay to continue.
13' Denmark have settled now and they're beginning to increase the pressure on Finland. They've had 68 per cent possession so far.
11' SAVE! Thrige is in acres of space near the byline and fizzes a dangerous low cross into the six-yard box. It's met by Nadim who flicks it towards the far corner, but Korpela instinctively reaches across to make a fine save and keep the scoreline level! The resulting corner amounts to nothing.
9' Chance! Nadim darts dangerously inside from the right before lashing a 12-yard strike that Korpela holds at the first attempt!
7' Harder pounces on a loose ball on the edge of the box and fires a shot straight into Kuikka. It's been a scrappy start so far, with neither side able to take control.
5' Harder hassles Pikkujamsa to win a throw-in level with the penalty box. Thrige hurls it deep into the box, but Finland clear it comfortably.
3' Kuikka lines up a speculative shot from 35 yards and hits it comfortably over the bar.
2' Thomsen latches onto Troelsgaard's clipped pass, but Koivisto gets back to dispossess her inside the box.
1' Denmark kick off the first half.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just minutes away!
Denmark were runners-up in Euro 2017 and were entering this edition with high hopes. However, a defeat today could potentially end their tournament after just two games.
Finland also make two changes: Hyyrynen and Engman drop out for Kuikka and Sainio.
Thrige and Nadim come in for Denmark. Sofie Svava and Rikki Madsen drop to the bench. They’ll be leaning heavily on Chelsea’s Harder today, who has who has 68 goals in 134 appearances for her country.

Both teams enter this one in desperate need of three points. Denmark suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Germany in their opening match of the tournament, and Finland didn’t fare much better: they were thrashed 4-1 by Spain in their first game. If either team is to make it out of the group, you’d think they need to win today.
