Kompany wants Swedish forward at Burnley
According to The Sun, Vincent Kompany and his Burnley side will be hoping to land Coventry striker Viktor Gyokeres this winter.
The Swedish forward is wanted by Fulham and Middlesbrough in the last window, but his £15 million transfer fee was too much more them.
With nine Championship goals to his name this season, however, it will be interesting to see if Burnley are willing to splash the cash for Gyokeres in January.

Manchester United and Chelsea have been put on alert after Canadian forward Jonathan David expressed interest in plying his trade in the Premier League.

Liverpool director of research linked with rivals Man Utd
Liverpool are concerned that their current director of research Ian Graham could make a controversial switch to bitter rivals Manchester United, according to Football Insider.
Graham is currently seeing out a 12-month notice period at Anfield, meaning he will depart the Merseyside club in May after a pivotal role in the much-praised recruitment during the Jurgen Klopp era. The same outlet reports that the Red Devils are also eyeing up Liverpool's sporting director Michael Edwards in what would be a sensational double-swoop.
Man Utd ready to splash out on Zubimendi
Manchester United are said to be ready to spend big for Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, with Sport Witness reporting that the Red Devils are willing to pay £51.4m (€60m) for the midfielder.
