According to reports in Italy (via Football Italia), West Ham are keen on reviving their interest in Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic this winter.

Milenkovic did sign a contract until 2027 not that long ago but the Hammers are now said to be in contact with him once more.

According to The Sun, Vincent Kompany and his Burnley side will be hoping to land Coventry striker Viktor Gyokeres this winter.

The Swedish forward is wanted by Fulham and Middlesbrough in the last window, but his £15 million transfer fee was too much more them.

Manchester United are ready to place a formal offer with PSV Eindhoven to sign their star player Cody Gakpo in January according to the Daily Mail.

The Dutch club are expected to ask for a fee of around £50m for Gakpo which the Red Devils will match to complete the 23-year-old's signing.

Aston Villa are planning to let Sevilla loanee Ludwig Augustinsson leave at the end of the ongoing season according to Football Insider.

The Swedish full-back was signed on loan from the Spanish club in July but he is yet to feature regularly in Villa's starting lineup thus far.

Manchester United and Chelsea have been put on alert after Canadian forward Jonathan David expressed interest in plying his trade in the Premier League.

The Lille forward was quoted by Caughtoffside, "I am aware of nothing. When I am at the World Cup I am just focused on trying to enjoy the World Cup and enjoying the moment. What happens after I do not know, we will have to see. The Premier League is the best league in the world and I think every player would want to play there someday."

Tottenham Hotspur considered signing former AC Milan midfielder Frank Kessie in the summer but he eventually ended up joining Barcelona according to Fabrizio Romano via Caughtoffside.

The journalist claimed, "Before he left Milan at the end of his contract, there were other opportunities – Tottenham were interested in signing Kessie, but it was never an advanced negotiation."

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will compete to secure the signature of RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol next season according to Corriere Dello Sport.

The Bundesliga are expected to ask for a transfer of around €70-€80 million for the 20-year-old Croatian.

Tottenham Hotspur do not have any plans to sell their star forward Harry Kane, who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich recently, according to Fabrizio Romano via Caughtoffside.

In his column, the journalist wrote, "I’ve seen stories about Kane again, but there are no changes at all as of now. Tottenham want to keep Kane and there are no negotiations ongoing, but also nothing would happen during the World Cup of course. So it’s completely quiet as of now. Liverpool are concerned that their current director of research Ian Graham could make a controversial switch to bitter rivals Manchester United, according to Football Insider.

Graham is currently seeing out a 12-month notice period at Anfield, meaning he will depart the Merseyside club in May after a pivotal role in the much-praised recruitment during the Jurgen Klopp era. The same outlet reports that the Red Devils are also eyeing up Liverpool's sporting director Michael Edwards in what would be a sensational double-swoop.

Manchester United are said to be ready to spend big for Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi, with Sport Witness reporting that the Red Devils are willing to pay £51.4m (€60m) for the midfielder.

Zubimendi has already featured twice against United in 2022-23, with the Basque side finishing above their Manchester counterparts in Europa League Group E.

The Red Devils remain in the market for a midfielder despite the arrivals of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in the summer, although they will have to fend off interest from Barcelona, reports the same outlet.

Chelsea target Joao Felix is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

“I’ve been told before that he is open to coming to the Premier League as his next destination," Jones told GiveMeSport. "As soon as that decision is made – if it’s made – then I think clubs like Chelsea will be having a look.”

It had already been reported that Felix had fallen out with Atletico manager Diego Simeone, with Chelsea joining the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in the rice to sign the forward.

Virgil van Dijk has urged Netherlands team-mate Cody Gakpo to snub a move to Manchester United in favour of Real Madrid, who he deems to be on a different level to the English giants.

“Are Manchester United and Real Madrid on the same level? No disrespect, not at all," Van Dijk said after the Oranje's 3-1 win over the USMNT on Saturday. "I definitely think he has that next step in him. I definitely feel like it could happen, whether that is in the winter or the summer or next year, time will tell."

The 22-year-old was on target in Serbia's defeat to Switzerland on Friday, and has scored on seven occasions in all competitions for La Vecchia Signora in 2022-23.
