Manchester United are in talks to sign Espanyol striker Raul de Tomas - according to COPE.

The Red Devils are working on a deal for the 27-year-old as they line up a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is pushing for a move away from Old Trafford.

Should negotiations advance quickly, United are set to pay around €30 million (£25m/$31m) for De Tomas, who scored 17 La Liga goals for Espanyol last season.
