His loan spell at Fiorentina hasn't gone to plan as he's featured just three times in Serie A this campaign.

PSG manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed that midfielder Marco Verratti is set to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 champions.

“I’m told the club wants Marco Verratti to sign a new contract," he said. "It’s true, and it’s part of our plans. I think Marco is really happy here in Paris."
