Heineken brought football's most desirable trophy to Africa ahead of the semi-final showdowns. #CheersToAllFans #CheersToPassion

The UEFA Champions League Trophy took in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital city, as part of this year's Africa tour.

Accompanying the trophy through Africa was Dutch legend Clarence Seedorf who is the only player to have won the trophy with three different clubs: Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan.  

The Trophy Tour presented by Heineken has taken Europe’s most prestigious club football competition trophy to fans around the world since 2007.

In Africa, the trophy and Seedorf made stops in DR Congo, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Nigeria. The Champions League Trophy's final destination is, of course, Paris where the 2022 UEFA Champions League Final will be hosted on May 28.
