Commentary

That is all for tonight folks, thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
PSG are away from home in midweek as they prepare to travel to Toulouse, while Monaco will be back in front of their fans as they host Troyes on Wednesday.
Messi and Mbappe both came desperately close to scoring, but both were denied by the post as Monaco hung on at the end of the first half. Neymar was arguably PSG's best player, but even he wasted numerous chances to beat Nubel in the Monaco goal.
A frustrating night comes to an end for PSG as they return to the top of the Ligue 1 table, but see their winning run end at the same time. Monaco bounced back in style after their defeat to Lens, and they deserve a share of the spoils. Volland opened the scoring for the visitors as he converted Golovin's pass, but PSG eventually found their equaliser from the penalty spot. Neymar converted, but PSG needed a VAR check to help them back on track.
90' + 6' FULL-TIME - PSG 1-1 MONACO.

Yellow Card
90' + 5' No surprises here, with Henrique also now in the book.
A. Hakimi
Yellow Card
90' + 5' Now everyone has calmed down, Hakimi is booked for his part in the incident.
90' + 4' DRAMA! The referee stops the game after a scuffle between Hakimi and Henrique. Replays may be needed to work out what has happened, but it looks like this could be the final incident of this match.
B. Badiashile
Yellow Card
90' + 1' Badiashile is shown a yellow card for the challenge, and he is lucky it is going to stay that way, with replays showing his studs connected above Sarabia's ankle.
90' Four minutes of stoppage time to come by the way! Time is running out for PSG if they want to find a winning goal!
89' Sarabia is down and in agony after a challenge from Badiashile, and PSG's fans and players are asking for a red card.
88' OVER! Mbappe looks bemused once again, but this time it is a header from the striker that flies over the crossbar. He is human, after all!
Pablo Sarabia
L. Messi
87' A quiet night for Messi by his usual standards, and he will now watch on from the bench with Sarabia on for the final few minutes.
N. Mukiele
Marquinhos
87' Substitution Marcos Aoás Corrêa Nordi Mukiele Mulere
M. Verratti
Yellow Card
86' Yellow Card Marco Verratti
83' CHANCE! Mbappe forces a save out of Nubel, and the former Monaco man continues to struggle in front of goal this evening. The France international latched onto a throughball and smashed his shot towards the near post, only for Nubel to chest the ball away from danger.
80' We are into the final ten minutes, and PSG are still pushing for an equaliser. Monaco are still doing an excellent job of stifling their attacks, but they will do very well to stop the home side from creating more chances before the end of the contest.
P. Kimpembe
Yellow Card
77' Kimpembe is the latest player to be carded after a lazy challenge in the middle of the park.
76' Neymar has now scored in his last six games in the Ligue 1, and he still has plenty of time to add to his tally for the evening.
Jean Lucas
M. Camara
74' Camara's night is over as Clement introduces Jean Lucas into his midfield.
71' Monaco have wasted so much energy trying to keep PSG at bay; what do they have left in the final 20 minutes?
Neymar
Penalty Goal
70' GOAAALLLLLL - PSG 1-1 MONACO - Neymar makes no mistake from the spot as he makes a slow run before sending the ball to Nubel's right. The Monaco stopper tried to get down to his effort, but the strike was too good, and it is game on in Paris.
67' VAR CHECK! The referee consults the pitchside monitor to reconsider his decision for the foul on Neymar, and the PENALTY IS GIVEN.
67' Now to rub salt into the wounds, Camara has gone down injured, and PSG fans are claiming he is feining the issue.
66' Boos ring around the Parc des Princes as PSG fans plead for a penalty, but Neymar is told to get to his feet by the officials. He seemed to fall over Maripan's stray leg, but Monaco may have got away with this.
T. Minamino

B. Embolo

58' SAVE! Nubel comes to the rescue for Monaco as he denies Neymar at point-blank range on the edge of his six-yard box. The ball eventually fell to Hakimi, but he smashed the ball wide of the post.
M. Camara
Yellow Card
55' Camara is the latest player to be carded after a late challenge on Hakimi near the touchline.
55' Monaco are unbeaten in their last 17 Ligue 1 matches when leading at half-time. So, the time is now for PSG if they want to break that record.
52' We are less than ten minutes into the second half, and PSG have already improved on their first-half showing, and they are getting more joy down the flanks.
49' CLOSE! Mbappe gets the home fans on their feet after a powerful run into the box, but he can only produce a tame shot, and Nubel makes a comfortable save at his near post.
48' OVER! Monaco nearly double their advantage after a rash decision from Donnarumma to rush off his line, but Ben Yedder curls his shot over the crossbar from 30 yards out.
46' We are back underway!
Monaco need to do more with the ball at their feet rather than try to protect their lead for a full 45 minutes. The crowd will be on their backs when the referee blows his whistle, and they need to try and silence them by playing on the front foot.
Monaco lead at the break thanks to Volland's precise strike past Donnarumma, but that was their only moment of joy. The visitors were brilliant for the first 40 minutes until PSG finally woke up and came into the game. Messi and Mbappe both hit the post in the final few minutes of the first half, and that will hopefully give them a lift in the second 45 minutes.
45' + 4' HALF-TIME - PSG 0-1 MONACO.
45' Four minutes of stoppage time to come!
44' WOODWORK!!! PSG are flying forward at will, but the post saves Monaco in quick succession. Messi's initial effort cannoned off the upright before falling into the path of Mbappe. The France international then played his shot straight off the opposite post, and Monaco are still in front.
43' AGAIN! Disasi gets in the way of a volley from Mbappe after the ball fell to the PSG striker after Ramos' failed bicycle kick. The attack ends though as the flag does up for offside in the build-up with Ramos slow to get back from a corner.
43' BLOCK! PSG win a corner after Mbappe's low drive clips the heels of Disasi. Galtier's troops carved Monaco open for the first time this evening; maybe that is the start of something.
41' Into the final five minutes of regulation time, only one side deserves to be in the lead. Sadly for Monaco, Volland had to be replaced, but his contribution was vital.
M. Akliouche
Yellow Card
40' Akliouche mistimes his tackle on Neymar, and the referee shows him a yellow card as a result.
39' There are still ten minutes to go in the first half, including stoppage time, but PSG may need the interval to regroup and get back on track.

33' The corner comes to nothing and it remains 0-1 to Monaco, who are playing superbly well.
33' SAVE!!! Despite the boos, jeers and whistles, Henrique managed to get his free-kick over the wall, but he was denied by Donnarumma, who threw himself across his goal to punch clear for a corner.
31' Camara wins Monaco a free-kick on the edge of the PSG box after being pushed to the floor by Sanches.
29' BLOCK! PSG's first real foray into the Monaco box ends in disappointment, with Neymar's shot blocked before Mbappe fired over with his attempted header.
27' Monaco have avoided defeat in their last nine matches when scoring the opening goal in the Ligue 1.
26' Panic over regarding Camara, he is now back on the pitch.
M. Akliouche
K. Volland
25' Volland's night is officially over, with Akliouche on in his place.
24' Things might be about to go from bad to worse for Monaco, with Camara down holding his chest after a collision with Neymar in midfield.
22' Worrying signs here for Monaco as Volland seemed to pick up an injury while scoring, and his night is over by the looks of things as he limps around the pitch with the help of a physio.
A. Golovin
Assist
20' Golovin deserves praise for his pass, with the Monaco man wasting no time before playing the ball into Volland, who finished in style.
K. Volland
Goal
20' GOAAAALLLL - PSG 0-1 MONACO - The visitors catch PSG cold on the counterattack, and they lead in Paris. Camara won the ball back for Monaco, allowing Golovin to play a teasing throughball between Kimpembe and Marqunhos. Kimpembe tried in vain to stop Volland, but the Monaco man kept him at bay before firing past Donnarumma.
18' We are nearly 20 minutes into the match, and Nubel has yet to make a save. Monaco are making life so tough for PSG, but can they keep it up?
16' It seems Neymar has got under the skin of the Monaco midfield, with the Brazilian on the receiving end of several strong challenges already. Camara is the latest player to catch the former Barcelona man, but the referee keeps his cards in his pocket.
13' Monaco's midfield are working in tandem to frustrate Messi, Verratti and Sanches, who are all trying to start attacks from midfield. Monaco are pressing with a front three at the minute, and it has unsettled the hosts.
10' Since his booking, Neymar has looked fired up for this battle tonight, but PSG are really struggling to get their foot on the ball and create any opportunities.
8' There is no love lost between the players so far, with plenty of needless fouls. The home fans are voicing their dismay, and their anger may be heightened by PSG's failure to create a meaningful chance.
Neymar
Yellow Card
5' Neymar is shown a yellow card for a stupid push on Volland. The pair were running alongside each other near the referee, and Neymar just decided to push the Monaco man to the floor. Bizarre decision!
3' Monaco will be pleased with the start they have made, neutralising any PSG attack inside their own half.
2' This time last week, PSG had already scored, so you could say Monaco are already putting up a better fight. Both teams are wearing their traditional home kits, and the crowd are full of life.
1' We are underway at the Parc des Princes.
The two teams are making their way onto the field in Paris!
Monaco have more wins against PSG in Ligue 1 than any other side, coming out on top on 44 occasions. They have won three of the previous four matches against the reigning champions in the top flight.

PSG have already beaten Clermont, Montpellier and Lille this season. Christophe Galtier's side ran riot last time as they beat Lille 7-1, which does not bode well for Monaco, who lost 4-1 to Lens at home.
