France are now looking to make it three wins out of three when they travel to face Turkey in June, while Iceland will attempt to bounce back when they host Albania.
France seal a comprehensive victory after a strong second-half display where Giroud, Mbappe and Griezmann added to Umtiti's first-half header. France asserted their dominance from the first whistle with Umtiti's finish handing them a deserved lead at the break, but they turned on the style in the second period with Mbappe starring in France's success. Iceland struggled to contain France's attacking threat throughout and the home side defended their visitors' set-pieces well to deny them anything from the game.

A. Skúlason
B. Sævarsson
84' Iceland make another substitution as Skulason replaces Saevarsson.
82' Lemar is immediately involved as he looks to take on Gunnarsson down the right wing and forces the Iceland captain into conceding a foul.
T. Lemar
N. Kanté
80' France make their first substitution as Lemar is brought on in place of Kante.
A. Griezmann
78' Griezmann's pass unlocked the Iceland defence, but Mbappe showed great composure to take a nicely weighted first touch before bundling it home. That should seal it for France.
K. Mbappé
78' GOOOAL! Mbappe makes it 3-0 to France! Griezmann slots a well-timed ball into the onrushing Mbappe who glides past Saevarsson and Ingason before tucking the ball home.
76' Pogba looks to create space for a cross near the left-hand corner flag, but Saeversson does well to guide it out for a goal-kick.
74' Griezmann chips a neat pass to Giroud in the box and he beats Halldorsson to it before directing it into the net, but the linesman had his flag up for offside.
72' Pogba looks to make a break forward, but he is brought down by Bjarnason and wins a free-kick.
70' Traustason attempts to feed a through ball into Finnbogason, but the striker is caught just offside.
B. Pavard
68' That was a moment Halldorsson will want to forget, but the problem was initially caused by Pavard's excellent ball into the box which deceived the goalkeeper.
O. Giroud
68' GOOOAL! Giroud makes it 2-0 to France! Pavard bends a cross in from the right and Halldorsson fails to claim it despite racing out of his goal. This allows the lurking Giroud to tap the ball into an empty net to give France a two-goal cushion.

63' Matuidi is the next player to have an attempt from distance, but he failed to get over the ball and fired his effort well above the bar.
A. Finnbogason
A. Guðmundsson

B. Bjarnason
Yellow Card
51' Bjarnason receives the first booking of the match after he tugged down Giroud.
49' Mbappe embarks on a menacing run from deep in his own half, but his final ball lets him down as his through ball for Griezmann is cut out on the edge of the box.
48' CHANCE! Bjarnason picks it up outside the box and drills a low effort at the left-hand side of goal that forces Lloris into a diving save. That was the closest Iceland have come so far.
47' France have started the second half in the same vein by dominating the ball. However, Iceland have now won it back following Giroud's foul on Gunnarsson.
46' The referee blows his whistle and France get us underway for the second half!
Mbappe has been at the heart of France's dominance so far, with many of his deliveries and dribbles causing problems for Iceland's defence. However, Iceland look threatening from set-pieces and this is something they should look to exploit in the second period.
France head into the break with a one-goal lead as Umtiti's header proves to be the difference between the sides. The world champions have dominated the opening period and could have added to their tally with Giroud, Mbappe and Matuidi going close. Iceland have struggled to impose themselves on the game so far, with France's defence not giving them an inch throughout the first half.
43' CLOSE! Kurzawa delivers a looping ball into the box and it's met by the head of Matuidi, but he nods it into the ground and steers wide from close range.

36' Gylfi Sigurdsson delivers a testing free-kick into the France box after Kante committed a foul, but Varane is able to rise highest to clear the danger.
34' Mbappe cuts inside from the left wing and looks to place an effort into the bottom-left corner, but he drags it just wide.
32' Pavard chips it into the path of Mbappe near the byline and he creates the space to skid a ball across goal, but Halldorsson dives low to reclaim it.
30' France have dominated the ball so far. They have recorded 79 per cent possession and made 296 passes compared to Iceland's 84.
28' Mbappe slides a low ball for Pavard to chase down the right wing, but Bjarnason does well to tackle him and win the throw-in.

20' Matuidi squeezes in a cross from the left-hand byline, but Halldorsson is on hand to quell the danger by claiming the ball.
18' CLOSE! Giroud almost doubles France's lead! Pavard delivered a perfectly weighted cross into the box, but Giroud's emphatic header is tipped over the bar by Halldorsson.
16' Arnason heads the ball towards Ragnar Sigurdsson at the back post, but his header is too soft and it's easily claimed by Lloris.
14' Mbappe looks to dribble past Ragnar Sigurdsson and he wins a corner which results in Giroud heading the ball over the bar.
K. Mbappé

9' Griezmann receives it some 20 yards out and he looks to flick a through ball into the path of Matuidi. However, it's just out of the midifelder's reach and goes out for a goal kick.
7' Mbappe is now back on the pitch, with France looking to maintain their early pressure.
6' Mbappe is currently off the pitch after suffering a knock during his tussle with Magnusson, but it looks likely he will continue.
4' Griezmann receives it on the edge of the box and looks to dance past the defence, but Ragnar Sigurdsson is on hand to win it back for Iceland.

The players are heading out of the tunnel and we are almost ready for kick-off.
