Orlando Pirates face Royal Leopards in their third Caf Confederation Cup Group B match at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.

GOAL predicts how co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids could set up their starting team.

  1. GOALKEEPER - Siyabonga Mpontshane

The experienced goalkeeper conceded two goals last weekend but remains the best available gloveman and is expected to continue in goal on Sunday.

  2. RIGHT-BACK - Bandile Shandu

The former Maritzburg star is arguably Pirates' best signing this season, missing just one of the Buccaneers' 26 matches across all competitions this season.

He goes into this match high in confidence after grabbing a brace against Al-Ittihad last weekend.

  3. LEFT-BACK - Paseka Mako

Mako has managed to make the left side of defence his and in the process condemning Innocent Maela and Bongani Sam to the bench.

  4. CENTRE-BACK - Happy Jele

The Soweto giants' captain would be out to make sure they don't concede goals in successive games.

  5. CENTRE-BACK - Olisa Ndah

Another good signing for Pirates this season, the Nigeria international has established himself as a defensive rock.

He has formed a solid central defence partnership with Jele although they shipped in three goals last weekend.

  6. CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Ben Motshwari

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Ben Motshwari

The 30-year-old midfielder lasted 82 minutes in the last game against Ittihad and is likely to start again.

Motshwari provided an assist for Shandu's first goal against Ittihad.

  7. CENTRAL MIDFIELDER - Goodman Mosele

Mosele started the season on fire but his game has dropped a bit after coming back from injury.

However, he is a player who can have a huge influence on his day and that is what the Pirates coaches would be hoping for.

  8. RIGHT MIDFIELDER - Fortune Makaringe

Makaringe has started all Pirates' four Confederation Cup games this season and is likely to be in the line-up on Sunday.

  9. LEFT MIDFIELDER - Deon Hotto

    LEFT MIDFIELDER - Deon Hotto

Hotto has been one of Pirates' best players this season and there are always hopes he will make an impact in any game.

The Namibian is Pirates' top goal-scorer across all competitions this season.

  10. ATTACKING MIDFIELDER - Thembinkosi Lorch

Lorch is one of the experienced players in this team and he would be hoping to improve on his form so far this season.

  11. CENTRE-FORWARD - Frank Mhango

As Pirates strikers struggle to score, Ncikazi and Davids might be forced to climb down from their stance on Mhango and turn to the Malawi international for goals.
